Settling in

After Scott dropped them off and helped them with their bags, they actually walked into Harlow.
"It's so surreal to be back here... it feels like a different home..." said Alex. The other siblings silently nodded, looking around.
"I digs my old room!" Yelled Evie, sprinting down the hallway to her old bedroom.

They all brought their bags to their bedrooms, with the help of Ryan and Yvette, and Charli finally got the chance to look around. She laughed as she saw all of the old pictures of her and her best friend, Piper. They had stayed super close, even when the Baileys moved away. She couldn't wait to see her again.

Then there was a photo of Alexa, which had a moustache and a beard drawn on it, with a broken heart. Alexa had been in a trio with Charli and Piper, before she turned to the 'cool kids' and became one of the mean, popular girls. Charli sighed. She had tried to block Alexa from contacting her, but she still woke up to rude DMs or messages from her. At least she still had Piper.

Deciding not to think anything else about it, she quickly out her sheets back on her old bed, before quickly falling asleep. She was super jetlagged, and would have to be fully awake to see James and Louise again the next day.

Charli woke up to a knock on her door. She rubbed her eyes, and saw Alex's figure standing in the doorway.
"Dad made sausages." He said.
"Coming..." she grumbled, swinging her legs out of bed.

The Bailey kids nearly fell asleep on their plates because they were so tired.
"We'll, looks like an early bedtime for you lot!" Yvette smiled, putting the leftover sausages in the fridge and putting the tomato sauce in the pantry.
"Please!" Charli joked. They all laughed.
"I had to wake her up. Now I get why you got so frustrated with her on school mornings!" Alex said, earning a whack from Charli. "Ow!" He feigned pain.
"Your fault..." she giggled.

It was 10pm, and Evie and Theo had fallen asleep on the couch while watching a movie long ago. Charli had almost adjusted back to her old bed, and her eyes began to flutter shut. She went on to dream about seeing Louise, James, Edward, and Sophie again. Would James be taller than her? Would Alex be taller than Louise? She was nervous, but couldn't wait.
