.Bluffin.

Third person pov.

The air in the room was so thick no knife could cut through it. Both Jennie and Lisa were holding each other's gaze as if it was a game that if any of them looked away, they'd lose. Though it wasn't fair, Lisa wasn't as confident as this Jennie Kim. She was also the tiniest bit scared. She did hang out with Mike, but she didn't know him that well. One thing she has learned in her life is that no one is trustable.

Jennie finally broke the silence. "Are you trying to stay quiet to raise the price?" She leaned in to get a better look at Lisa. Miss Kim was so thrilled from wanting to have this girl by her knees. She was all in.

"Ahmm I.. well, I mean... "Multiple thoughts crashing Lisa's head at the same time, it was hard to speak them.

"Easy there raven. How about a million?"
Jennie said, a warm smoothness clear in her voice, but in no way did Lisa mistake that for a soft gesture.

"Stop it, okay? I am not interested, at least not in you. You are just full of yourself, and I rather the cute type in girls." Lisa tried her best to sound tough, though she was sure by the smirk plastered in Kim's face that she was failing.

"Hmmmm," Jennie faked thinking.
" I would like to continue putting up with your sass. Unfortunately, I have some matters to attend." She replied and stood from her place in the comfortable couch. The windows in the living room made it look like they were in the middle of the sky.

Jennie's slow approach towards Lisa felt deliberate, each step echoing with a silent challenge. As she leaned in, her eyes locked onto Lisa's, creating an unspoken duel. The room seemed to shrink in the intensity of their silent confrontation. Jennie nodded for her to stand up. Lisa immediately got up from her place and scolded herself in her mind. Damm it

"My final offer will be 10 million, but it will come with a contract. Before you make any rushed up decisions again, think about it. I'll be back later tonight, and then you can say no if that is what you want." The black suit woman spoke as she walked by Lisa, leaving her too stunned to say anything.

After the door was closed and a good five minutes passed, it was then that Lisa came to her senses. 10 million?? What in the name of ??? How on earth would someone even offer such an insane amount. She went back and forth, pacing towards the house. This woman clearly just wanted to get under her skin and prove her point. I bet she would shake It hard for half of that price.

It just didn't make sense in Lisa's mind. Why would anyone even want to go that far to prove a point. And so what? For example, if Lisa says yes, she will actually give her that amount of money? Even the thought of ten million was making Lisa turn into another person.
It wasn't like Lisa had loans or debt to pay, but which reasonable person would deny that amount of money.

She was about to lose her mind when the front door opened, revealing a blonde head.

"Oh, don't tell me you actually pissed her off enough that she left." Mike questioned more to himself and took off his blazer, leaving it on the counter chair.

"What? No, she left because she had some matters to attend." Lisa replied.

"Sooo what happened. Did she look interested?" Mike asked sounding excited.
Excited? Lisa wondered why on earth would he be excited about that.

"We argued until the moment she left. But she did make an interesting offer. She said she'd pay ten million, as if she can actually pay that much. Psttt." Lisa hissed and looked disgusted.

"Oh" Mike looked like he was going deep in his thoughts.

"Lisa you know that she is actually capable of paying that amount and even more?"

Now it was Lisa's turn to go deep in her thoughts. What??? These people are just making a fool of me thinking I'd believe them.

"She is the Jennie Kim and the reason you haven't heard her name is because she is not for public. Her family never showed interest  in people being in their business."
Mike took a seat on the couch and waved for Lisa to seat.

"She is not only Korean, her mother's side goes back to Japan from his grandmother and his grandfather goes back to England. From her father's side one way goes back to Korea and her other grandmother is actually from Russia." Mike was trying to explain it all well.

Lisa just couldn't imagine how can someone be related to half of the world, and not just any countries, these families looked old and fancy. Now it was obvious why that woman was so full of herself, she had to be. Then she listened carefully to Mike again.

"And as she is always going around the world we are mostly in touch through phone or small visits like this. The reason I'm saying this all to you is that, I have never  ever saw Jennie even entertain the idea of paying someone for anything related to this matter. Either she is paying to get you with her and kill you later or she is actually interested in your rudeness. The point is I don't really know which one." Mike finished talking but he still looked amused.

"Are you saying she would literally pay ten million?" Lisa couldn't believe it. Why was this woman eager to get Lisa?

"I'm saying she can just take you away without anyone ever noticing you are gone Lisa." Mike said truthfully.

Lisa didn't like that possibility and from everything she heard right now, she knew better to just pick up her tail and run. Though if she was being honest she can't think of making ten million in her whole life. So okay this woman seemed dangerous to deal with but what's the worst that could happen? She'd fuck her too hard?
Lisa laughed at herself in her mind.

"Mike are you saying you can turn down ten million? Honestly?" Lisa asked.

The question was floating in the room, the sky was becoming darker and sun was no where to be found. The living room looked chilly and Lisa was half hugging herself by now.

"Of course I wouldn't turn it down if I was you. But you'd never accept it if you were me. Are you even considering it?" Mike asked.

"I mean why not? I can't really see any downside and-" both Lisa and Mike didn't realize how long they have been talking.
Jennie walked through the door this time no one's ear was in her hand.

"Well hello there love birds." Jennie remarked too serious for it to be taken as a joke. "Done making your decision dear little raven?" She said taking a full glance at the black haired girl.

Lisa was thinking so hard it hurt her head.
"I think I'd like to see this contract of yours, unless you've been bluffing." Lisa spoke her lies through her teeth. She now knew Jennie was very much capable, she couldn't help but to be bitter.

"The contract is on its way dear Lisa."
