In the ancient land of Ayodhya, they say,
A tale of courage and valor found its way,
The epic Ramayan, a timeless ode,
Of love, sacrifice, and a righteous code.

Prince Ram, noble and fair,
The embodiment of virtues rare,
Born as Lord Vishnu's earthly form,
To protect Dharma from any storm.

Sita, the princess of Videha's plight,
With beauty that shone like moonlight,
Chosen as Ram's beloved wife,
Their love story, a treasure for life.

Lakshman, Ram's loyal brother bold,
With unwavering devotion he would hold,
Together, the trio faced destiny's call,
To conquer demons, stand tall.

Ravana, the ten-headed demon king,
Lust for power, his only thinking,
Kidnapped Sita, in his golden chariot,
Ram's love, he sought to exploit.

From the dense forests to Lanka's shore,
An army of monkeys and bears did soar,
Led by Hanuman, a mighty warrior,
The search for Sita grew fervor.

Battles raged, the earth trembled in roar,
As good clashed with evil, forevermore,
With his divine bow in hand,
Ram vanquished evil across the land.

In the final battle, the mighty duel,
Ram's arrow pierced Ravana's cruel,
Victory for righteousness was achieved,
Dharma restored, all evil relieved.

Returning to Ayodhya, jubilation unfurled,
The streets lit up, the air with joy swirled,
Dharma prevailed, harmony restored,
The Ramayan, a tale of love adored.

Through generations, the story lives on,
Teaching lessons of truth, till the dawn,
The Ramayan, a beacon of faith and grace,
A timeless epic, for humankind to embrace.
