Karna, the son of the sun,
Born with a destiny, predetermined and done.
A warrior of great might,
His story shines in the darkest of night.

Conceived by Kunti, from the sun god's embrace,
Karna's fate was set, with no room for grace.
Rejected by his mother, he was left to fend,
But his strength and courage, he would soon lend.

Raised by a charioteer, yet with noble blood,
Karna's true identity, for long, was misunderstood.
But he grew to be a warrior, unmatched and brave,
With a heart of gold, and a soul to save.

He was loyal and true, to Duryodhana's side,
For he had promised him, to always abide.
But fate had other plans, for Karna's life,
A test of loyalty, in the midst of strife.

On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, he fought with might,
Against his own brothers, in a gruesome sight.
But his valiant efforts, were met with deceit,
As fate played its game, and brought him defeat.

With the knowledge of his true lineage, came a heavy toll,
For Karna's loyalty, was now in a deep hole.
But he stood by his word, till his very last breath,
For his honor and principles, he would never let death.

Karna, the son of the sun,
A hero in his own right, his story now done.
His legacy lives on, in the hearts of many,
A shining example, of loyalty and bravery.
