Draupadi, a woman of power and grace
Destined to be the queen of the Pandava race
Her beauty and strength unmatched by any
But fate had a different plan for her destiny
Married to five brothers, a queen of five thrones
But little did she know, her life would be full of moans
For her husband's kingdom, she was a mere pawn
In a game of power, she was just a pawn
Her beauty, her virtue, her pride
All became the reasons for her to be defied
For a game of dice, she was staked
And her dignity and honor were at stake
Duryodhana, the wicked prince
With his cunning ways, he had no sense
He called for her to be brought to the court
And her plight, oh, it was something she could not thwart
With each throw of the dice, she lost it all
Her husbands, her kingdom, her pride, her call
She begged for mercy, she pleaded for her rights
But her cries fell on deaf ears, amid the dark nights
Dushasana, the wicked brother
With evil intentions, he had no bother
He dragged her by her hair, in front of the court
And attempted to strip her, oh, what a tort
But Draupadi, oh, she was no ordinary wife
She had the strength of a thousand lives
She prayed to her Lord, to save her from shame
And He, in His glory, answered her pain
With His divine grace, her saree never ended
And her dignity, her honor, were forever defended
In front of the court, she stood with pride
For her Lord had saved her, in her darkest of times
Draupadi's plight, a tale of strength and faith
A woman, who refused to bow to fate
Her courage and resilience, a lesson to all
In the face of adversity, she stood tall
So let us remember, Draupadi's plight
And never forget, her strength and her might
For she was a queen, a woman of grace
And her story, shall forever be embraced.
