Why??

The way my Fairyl told me that Ivorette was specifically assigned to me kinda creeped me out and made me wonder things. Why was I so noticeable that my name was even in the headmasters mind to specifically assign me to his daughter which I'm sure he deemed precious.

I guess my mom may have known about the school before I was born, so she might have been close to someone who worked here. Maybe they spoke to the headmaster? Or maybe the school had ties to my family? Or they were of importance to the a magic community. But wouldn't I have known about it someway by now?
I don't know but it was kinda weird.
The one and only Ivorette wasn't in her room yet she's probably parading the campus with her stuck up friends. But then I stopped myself I needed to meet her first and not judge her from what others told me about her behavior, which is supposedly snobby. Though I still found myself thinking wether or not she demanded a certain side of the room. In the back of mind I tried to defend my presumptionsof her being snobby and demanding . It told me what a an older teacher had said in the past . "Every rumor has a spark of truth"

Pushing away the thought I chose the bed nearest to the window, It would be nice seeing the sun and the moon when I awoke and fell asleep. My mom had packed me with covers and pillow cases, but the bed was already set with a white and gold full bed set with a crest which I assumed was the schools. Considering I wouldn't need the bed set my mom bought me I just stuffed it deep in our closet. The closet was pretty wide it took up the size of a medium sized wall. There was a nude wall type thing which seperated the closet in half. Since I had nothing else to do so I opened up my suitcase and started hanging up my clothes. I put the longer things like pants and gowns in the back and worked my was to the front. I was hanging up a blue shirt with Virgin Islands written it in cursive diagonally the door opened and Ivorette walked in.
"Setting up already?"
"Yeah. There's nothing better to do"
She looked over and sized my sized my shirt
"You've been?"

"No my mom did though"

"Nice"

She was acting alright so far very different from when she was around her friends. She walked towards my bed. And gave it her version of the side eye

"Why don't you have new  new bed sheets"

I didn't really see any problems with them they were fine and they weren't itchy or dirty . I rubbed my hand over its plush  surface again. There was nothing noticeably wrong with them and they were kinda better then the ones at home  So I just sat there confused for a good while.

"No one keeps those ones ",  she continued

The way she said it made it sound  like it was a well known fact. Maybe it was around here I'm still pretty clueless to everything so I wouldn't know. I shrugged and kept hanging up my clothes. As I  placed hangers on my clothes I thought back to what she said. It wasn't rude I guess, but I wasn't sure why she cared what sheets were on my bed.

"What's your favorite color"Ivorette asked.

She was putting up different covers on her bed like I was supposed to doing according to her.

"Turquoise. You?"

"Silver. So the room theme is gonna be turquoise and silver. They match well enough"

"Were decorating?"

"Umm.. duh. The original decoration of this room is so boring. I told my dad to fire the people in charge of decorating the dorms but he wouldn't listen to me. Like beige walls really"
