Chapter 2 & 1/3

"Why are you dressed like a bull clone? Are the other clones people dressed up? Why are you working for a bad guy?" The boy blew up in a million questions.

"Hold on. Hold on!" You stopped the boy. "Since you grabbed me, don't you think it's fair if I ask questions first?" The boys face shut as he thought about what you said, then answered "Yeah! Seems fair."

"Good. So, my first question is, who are all of you?" You started. "Oh! I'm MK! This is Mei! That guy is Mr. Tang! And the guy behind the counter is my boss, Pigsy!" MK introduced the group. "Okay, question two. What- no. Why do you think the Demon Bull family is bad?"

"Uh, 'cause they literally destroyed a whole town to rule the world and had to be stopped by Monkey King!" MK stated like it was obvious. "Okay, that brings question three. Who is Monkey King?" You asked.

MKs jaw dropped in shock. "GHCDGVC! WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'WHO IS MONKEY KING?'! HE'S, like, THE COOLEST GUY EVER!!" MK exclaimed. "Oh~kay." You responded.

"Speaking of Monkey King, you mentioned needing him for something?" Mei asked MK, reminding him of their need. "Oh! Right! We gotta go!" MK dashed out the door, somehow, dragging everyone with him.

Everyone squeezed into Pigsys car, where MK explained that Flower Fruit Mountain was across a whole ocean. "I know a guy that can get us there." "Hold on real quick. Where are we going? And, are you going to be driving?" You interrupted the pig.

"Uh..." Pigsy hesitated to answer. "You know what?" You spoke. You swapped places with Pigsy, and started driving to the docks, assuming ocean meant docks. Your driving scared the poor pig. But when you consider your teachers were your bull clone siblings, it made a little sense.

Once at the docks, and on the boat, everyone was shaking in fright because of this "Sandy's" aura. Well, everyone except for you. The Demon Bull family is way more intimidating! Plus, the cats you saw, erased any vibes of possible hostility! The cats were SO CUTE!

You cooed as you stroked each cat, oblivious to your surroundings. Suddenly, the boat jerked you backwards as it swiftly sped off towards Flower Fruit Mountain.

Eventually, when everyone had there "sea legs" on, you all sat out on the deck. Pigsy and Tang fell asleep, somehow, and MK was twirling the staff while you and Mei watched. Though Mei was sitting while watching her friend, you didn't quite trust the kid to not accidentally harm someone or something.

So you stood off to the side, watching wearily, while trying to repair your helmet. All those crash landings with MK really did a number on it, and you were not happy.

You messed with it a bit, trying to mimic what you saw Red Son once do. And though you didn't get the com to work, you got the tracker to function! You silently cheered at your accomplishment, and place it back inside the boat.

When you returned, you noticed an odd butterfly land on a crate as it started to watch MKs recreation of one of the Monkey Kings battles. "Halt evil monster! I will thwart thee! For I am the Monkey Ki-!" MK yelped as the staff extended and broke part of the railing next to Mei, who seemed unfazed.

"Cool, MK!" Mei cheered for her friend, seemingly obviously to what could have happened. "Sorry Mei!" MK apologized. You had this feeling of déjà vu. Then your ears started to ring as a headache started to form. You squinted your eyes and touched a finger to your temple.

The boat shook, distracting you from the small pain. "Welcome to the Flaming Mountains, gang! It's a volcanic ring surrounding the whole island! The boat can't go any further, and this is the safest path." Sandy revealed.

"Thanks! Le' go!" MK stated then bolted off the boat. Mei was quick to follow. But Pigsy was hesitant. He glanced at his kid, then at you. He then hugged and grabbed your wrist, dragging you along.

Having Pigsy drag you along turned out to be both a good and bad thing. You easily helped guide the other safely away from dangerous spots you could see. But then there was the one spot you missed, boiling hot steam blew in front of you making you jump back and start to tremble.

"Careful new friend! Eeee! You gotta wonder why Monkey King chose to live here?" Mei spoke while avoiding danger. "Actually, when Monkey King first tried to cross he used Lady Iron Fans fan to-" "Aren't you a Monkey King fanboy!" Lady Iron Fan interrupted MK.

Pigsy, Mei, and MK gasped. You paused, then gave a bow. Pigsy noticed what you were doing, grabbed you by the collar of your shirt, and shook you as he exclaimed angrily, "You work for her?!"

Startled and slightly dizzy from the shaking, it took you a moment to processes what he said. You opened your mouth to respond, but gasped instead. Pigsy quickly launched both you and himself away from the balls of fire Lady Iron Fan threw.

"M- my lady!" You stuttered. You then straightened yourself up and bowed again. "My lady!" You spoke loudly, distracting everyone.

MK looked at you, confused by your words. Mei looked at you blankly as your words slowly sunk in. Pigsy growled and clenched his fists at your words. Lady Iron Fan stared at you, slowly piecing together who you were.

"Blunt? Is that you?" The demon princess asked you. You quietly sighed, relieved that the princess recognized you. "Yes, my lady! May I speak?" You asked her. "Go on." LIF answered.

"These beings can do you no major harm. If you'll allow, I can converse with them and help us come to an agreement!" You spoke. "Very well. But make it quick!" Lady Iron Fan commanded.

You glanced at the others and they swiftly came over. "This is great! You have a connection to her! So you can talk to her and keep her distracted while the rest of us go find Monkey King!" MK whispered.

"No, MK. I was hoping you'd just give her the staff!" You said. "WHAT?!" MK whisper yelled. "MK! Listen, if she has the staff, she'll leave you and your friends alone, she'll take my back to my brothers, and you can do whatever you like!" You tried to convince him.

You stepped away from them and spoke, "MK. Please! Just give her the staff!" You gesture towards Lady Iron Fan. MK paused, thinking, then answered, "No. It's not your staff. This staff belongs to Monkey King!"

He jumped towards the Demon princess, ready to strike! "MK, no!" You tried to late. Lady Iron Fan summoned the gauntlet Red Son had made, stopped the attempt, grabbed the staff from the boy, and flung him away.

"Kid!" "MK!" Pigsy and Mei cried out. You just stood there staring in shock. He was gone.

And it was your fault.

And just to clarify, "Blunt" is Lady Iron Fans nickname for you. Definition; Blunt: 1) dull, 2) less keen, 3) outspoken. She chose the name "Blunt" because of you made most of the bull clones seem "less keen" and you were more "outspoken" than the others. At first she didn't know why you were different, but now she does. And only she calls you that. Red Sons nickname for you is, of course, "peasant girl", and the bull clones call you "sister"!
