yn, a 22 year old girl gets married to a guy because of her parents. Does she fall in love? What happens next? And what plans does jk have for them both?
I know that the last chapter might not be making sense but it will start making sense in this chapter. Let's just start this chapter right away ->
~The next day~
yn's pov:-
Today, again when we reached the gym, we found uncle(Mr. jeon) there in the gym and my appa joins him while exercising.
~At Ari's house~
I was sitting on Ari's study table, completing my game and Ari was on the bed, still finding a job.
"Eonni, it's finally complete, the game. Now all that's left is publishing it." I say.
"Wow, that's great. Can I see it?" Ari says.
"Yea, here." I say, handing her the laptop and then I sit beside her on the bed.
Then, I spend the next hour, explaining her the game.
"Wow, bestie, when'd u get so good, huh? Where'd u get this big brain from?" she says, nudging my head and laughing.
"Aish, eonni, don't do that..." I say, rubbing my head.
"Ah, okie... fine, but seriously, this is really good." She says.
"Thanks" I say, grinning, "But I still don't know who to approach to publish this game." I pout.
"I guess there's a friend of my appa who can help. Lemme ask appa." She says, and dials her appa's number. After some time, she disconnects the call, and says, "He said that he will talk to his friend. He'll let u know 'till tomorrow."
"Okie. Now let's focus on your job." I say, closing my laptop.
"yn, wait a minute, I just got accepted for an interview at a big company." She says.
"What, really?" I say, excited.
"Yea, it says that I have to come for the interview the day after tomorrow. If I get this, yn, I will get rich, this company is one of the biggest companies in whole of korea." She says.
"Oh? really? Then I hope u'll get in. What position did u apply for?" I say.
"Secretory." She says.
"Wait. What? Wow!! Just imagine you getting the job and u and your boss falling in love." I say, giggling, "So romantic!!" I tease her.
"Shut uup." She sneers. "Nothing like that's gonna happen. By the way, I'm thinking that I should prepare for the interview. Will u help me?" She says.
"Yea, of course, eonni, is that even a thing u should ask me for?" I say.
Then, we spend the whole day for the interview. I help her with what she should answer for what question, what question they can ask, etc. Then I go back to my house.
When I reach to my house, I find Mr. and Mrs. Jeon sitting with my parents. I go to them and greet them.
Thankfully, I was wearing a decent dress.👇🏻

I sit beside eomma and whisper in her ear, "What r u all talking about?"
But before eomma answers, uncle says, "yn, how old r u?"
"Uncle, I'm 22 years old." I say.
"Oh. When r u planning to marry her off?" Uncle asks appa.
"Well, we r thinking of marring her off, but we haven't found a good guy for her. Also, yn, here, has never had a boyfriend, which makes it even harder for us." Appa says.
"Appa!" I say to him.
"What? I'm just telling the truth." He says.
"Looks like yn is just like my son, he has never had a girlfriend either." Uncle says.
"Oh? Jungkook? Has never had a girlfriend?" My eomma says. "Wow, that's a surprise."
Wait, wait, wait. Uncle has a fucking son? I mean, obviously he does but why do I not know about it?
"Yea, he is 2 years older than yn. We r also looking for a bride for him and when I met yn yesterday at the gym, I thought that she and jungkook r a perfect match. That is the reason we both came here today." Uncle says to appa and eomma and I start feeling uncomfortable.
I mean, I haven't even met their son. Heck, I didn't even know they had one until a second ago!
"Well, now that I think about it, this is a really good idea. I mean, what could be better than marrying our daughter off to our best friends' son. yn, what do u think? Would u like to meet jungkook? Maybe u 2 will like each other."
"Um.. o-ok.. I don't mind meeting him." I say.
"That's great!" Uncle says. "Before coming here, we had asked our son about this as well, and he said yes as well. yn, this is the number of my son, u both decide on your date, okay?" He says, giving me a card.
"O-okay, uncle. I will text him later." I say, smiling awkwardly.
After sometime, uncle and aunty went to their house and I finally breathed a sigh of relief. Then, I went to my room, changed my clothes, did my skincare routine, and made myself comfortable in my bed.
Then, I looked at the card uncle had given me and it has a number on it.
I guess, I should message their son, could be that uncle has already told him that I might message him and so I think I shouldn't make him wait some much..... So, I gather some courage, pick up my phone and message the number on the card:-
yn: Hi, I'm yn.
What should I write after this? Should I directly ask him for the location of the date and all?
As I was thinking what to say next, a text suddenly came from him. Why did he reply so fast? Was he really waiting for me to message him?
jk: Well, my father told me that u agreed to go on a date with me.
yn: Yea. I did.
jk: Hm, so, is there a specific place u would like to go to for a date?
Fuck, I never really thought about this. Aishh. What should I say? Well, I have wanted to go to an amusement park, maybe I should write that.
yn: Um.. maybe, xxx amusement park.
jk: Hm, ok. When r u free?
yn: I am free the day after tomorrow.
WelI, obviously I lied, because I am always free, but I just wanted to not show that I just stay at my home the whole day, or should I say at Ari's home? Also, it could be that the publisher that I am gonna talk to with about my game wants to meet tomorrow, so...
jk: Hm, ok, The day after tomorrow it is then. I'll come pick u up from your house at 5pm.
yn: Ok. Byee.
jk: Bye.
Ok, guys, today's chapter's complete. U see, I know I said in the starting that I would tell u why I made yn's dad and her uncle meet in the gym in last chapter but I didn't know how to involve that topic in between the chapter so lemme explain now.
What happened was that when yn's dad and Mr.Jeon met at the gym, they talked about their kids and how they wanted to marry them off so yea, that was the only reason I wrote first chapter.
