Hi loves♥️💜

Well... Happy new year!! I'm sure we all agree that 2024 was quite a rollercoaster, here for the plot.🥲 There are predictions that 2025 will be better!😆 I wish us all a happy and productive new year.❤️ Anyways, let's get to the story->

Yn's POV:-

Just a month after that fateful night at the club, an extravagant engagement party was planned to announce mine and Jungkook's union to the world. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, anxiety, and the overwhelming thought that my life was changing forever.

The preparations began hours before the party. The guest list included prominent mafia leaders, influential businessmen, and other powerful figures—a gathering of people who had shaped Jungkook's world and, now, mine.

It took what felt like an eternity to get dressed, but I wanted everything to be perfect. My gown was a soft lavender, the kind of colour that felt like dusk meeting the ocean. The fabric shimmered slightly as it caught the light, cascading down in delicate folds. The off-shoulder design hugged my collarbones, and a small silver belt accentuated my waist.

Ari, as always, stayed by my side, helping me with my hair and makeup.

She was a lifesaver, curling strands of my hair into soft waves and pinning a few sections back with pearl clips. My makeup was light but elegant—a touch of blush, a hint of eyeliner, and a soft pink lip that Ari insisted would "drive Jungkook crazy."

The mansion was breathtaking when we arrived. Every corner sparkled with golden fairy lights, and the grand ballroom where the ceremony would take place was adorned with flowers and crystal chandeliers. My heart was racing as Ari held my hand, whispering last-minute encouragement in my ear.

When Jungkook entered the room, I forgot how to breathe. He was dressed in a sharp black suit with a subtle shimmer, his white dress shirt open just enough to show a glimpse of his neck. A silver tie and cufflinks added an extra touch of elegance. His hair, always effortlessly perfect, was styled neatly but with a casual flair that was so him.

Our eyes met across the room, and in that moment, the crowd disappeared. It was just the two of us, the air charged with unspoken words and emotions.

The ceremony began soon after.  When it was time to exchange rings, my hands trembled slightly. Jungkook stood across from me, his dark eyes locked onto mine, a small, reassuring smile playing on his lips.

His hand was steady as he slipped the ring onto my finger—a delicate band with tiny diamonds encrusted along its surface.

When it was my turn, I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. The ring I held was simple yet elegant, a perfect reflection of him. My fingers brushed his as I slid it onto his hand, and for a brief moment, I felt the warmth of his touch grounding me amidst the nerves.

The room erupted into applause as we completed the exchange, our families clapping enthusiastically. Jungkook looked at me, leaning in slightly to whisper, "You did great."

As the evening continued, I found myself standing on the balcony, seeking a moment of quiet amidst the celebration. The cool ocean breeze brushed against my skin, calming my racing thoughts.

I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see Jungkook. He leaned against the railing beside me, his presence immediately putting me at ease.

"How are you feeling?" he asked softly, his eyes searching mine.

"Overwhelmed," I admitted with a small laugh, turning to look at the horizon. "But in a good way."

He smiled, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. "You look beautiful," he said, his voice low and sincere.

My cheeks flushed at his words. "Thank you," I murmured.

We stood there in comfortable silence for a moment before he spoke again. "This is just the beginning," he said, his gaze steady and full of promise.

I chuckled, shaking my head. "You always say the most dramatic things."

"And yet you're still here," he teased, pulling me into his arms.

I leaned into him, feeling the strength of his embrace and the quiet assurance it brought.

After the engagement, our lives spiraled into a whirlwind of activity, each of us finding our own rhythm amidst the chaos.

For me, my gaming career took off faster than I could've imagined. The indie game I'd poured my heart into during late nights and early mornings became an instant hit. Its unique storyline and engaging mechanics resonated with players, earning rave reviews and a loyal fanbase. With the momentum, I was approached by a renowned gaming studio to collaborate on more projects, and soon, I found myself working on games that I'd only dreamed of creating.

Transitioning into software engineering full-time was an adjustment, but a fulfilling one. My days were spent coding, brainstorming new ideas, and managing teams of talented developers. The work was challenging, but every line of code felt like a step toward building something extraordinary.

Jungkook's life wasn't slowing down either. His business ventures, along with Taehyung's strategic partnerships, were thriving. The two of them had an unspoken synergy, effortlessly expanding their empire. Jungkook often spoke of the long hours and tough negotiations, but his tone carried pride in every word.

Taehyung, on the other hand, had found a new pastime—flirting with Ari. Their playful banter had become a regular feature of our group conversations. Ari always rolled her eyes at his antics but couldn't quite hide her amused smiles. I had a sneaking suspicion there was more to their dynamic than either of them was willing to admit.

Despite our hectic schedules, Jungkook and I found time for each other. Late-night phone calls became our ritual, where we'd talk about our days, share random thoughts, or simply sit in silence, finding comfort in each other's presence.

Well... this was just an overview everyone's lives after that little 'incident' at the club.😉 And... the next chapter will be the wedding... and then the first night.😗😏 Hope you enjoyed, bye loves. And again, a very happy new year!😘
