After drinking the proper amount of blood, which has been increased to nourish 2 pups, we head to the dining room.

I still can't believe that we were blessed with 2 pups. I wonder if the previous pup busted his way through, again.

'Yep, that's exactly what happened. He will also make sure that he is born before our daughter.' Angel tells me.

'Do I need to worry about losing them this time?' I ask her with extreme worry.

'No. Even though he is ahead of plan, the princess makes it so the plan will not ver off course. Everything is going to be fine, Agnes.' Angel tells me.

I relax my shoulders and as Briggs holds my chair out for me, he stops me. 'Darlin, what is wrong? Are you ok?' He asks will immense worry.

'I am fantastic!' I smile through my tears. 'Angel gave me the best news about our pups.' I sniffle.

My mates urge me to sit. Once I get settled, I explain what I know.

'Thankfully, Angel said everything will be alright with this pregnancy. Even though our strong willed pup is still ultra-eager and he rushed the plan, again, all will be fine. Our daughter is able to balance the harmony. We have moved off course but still projected to be where we are meant.'

Mumbles and elation are shared amongst the table.

'That is fantastic news, sweetheart. I can't wait to be a Poppy.' My Father tells me with a slight blush to his cheek.

'A prince and a princess?! We are done for.' Xave laughs and we all join him.

'I can't wait to see a little Agnes running around.' Briggs states with a huge smile.

'Our boy is going to be unstoppable.' Riley muses.

I smile and look out at the table in happiness, let's hope this is a swing in the right direction.

'Thank you.' I mumble to the maid as she sets a plate in front of me. A large Cesar salad with crispy chicken and Parmesan cheese. She sets down another plate of mashed potatoes, green beans, and more crispy chicken.

'Don't Agnes.' Briggs demands as I reach for my fork. 'Taste it, every part.' He instructs the maid.

Oh yeah, the problem with the poison.

'I don't smell anything, daddy. The plates are fine.' I link Briggs but my statement has fallen on deaf ears.

The maid looks terrified as she walks over to the cart on the side of the room to grab a fork. When she comes back to the table, I'm not sure what to do. So I move to the side to give her more room. This is absolutely not necessary but this is what will put my Alpha's mind at ease.

After the maid has completed a tasting of all items, we wait a few moments before Briggs nods his head.

'Your name, Miss?' I ask.

'Trudy, Luna Queen.' She whispers.

'Thank you, Trudy. And please, Luna is just fine.' I say as she lowers her head with a small bow and leaves the table.

Finally, I can eat. I have never been so starving for human food. I have eaten a small share throughout my life but it never excited me. Now, however, I can't wait to devour every last morsel!

'Care to tell me what matters of importance have occurred while I was out?' I direct to the table.

Briggs clears his throat, takes a drink of water, and blots his mouth. 'It was decided to hold the Delta tournament in your absence. The sooner the Delta is decided, the sooner we can move on with recruiting elite warriors and building your security team.
