Briggs' P.O.V.

Fucking Agnes in the same hole is a feeling I never knew I needed to feel before. The pleasure I received from the slide of Xave's cock next to mine and having Agnes wrapped around us. Let's just say I understand why she wanted that so badly.

Here we are, it's just before dinner and I have called a pack meeting as Agnes requested. We are getting ready in our room after the wonderful shower we just shared.

Agnes is back to being insatiable. Or maybe this is her way of coping with the situation. Either way, Xave and I are more than happy to provide her with whatever she needs.

Dr. Merrill explained that Agnes could go back to her regular lifestyle, before the pups and before feeding Riley. He didn't say it in so many words because the look on Agnes' face let us know that she understood and didn't need to hear it said out loud.

Everyone is hopeful that the pups will come back doing the next heat, which will happen in the next month or so. It should have happened immediately but the emotional stress will most likely delay it.

We discussed what happened between Riley and I, and Riley and Xave. During that discussion, we talked about who will be appointed Royal Beta. We decided instantly on Bethie. It is her birthright to be Beta if she chooses to accept.

So, hoping that my sister agrees, and we might be able to end this meeting on a more positive note.

Agnes walks out in a killer outfit. Similar to what she normally wears but fuck, she's so hot. Long sleeve black body suit with skin-tight black jeans with a black belt and matte black red bottom heels. Of course, she has a black blazer in her hands.

'You look incredible, baby.' Xave beats me to compliment her.

'I won't be able to keep my eyes off you all night.' I tell her as I approach my mates and take Agnes into an embrace. She giggles when my beard tickles her cheek as I kiss her and it floods my body with happiness. It's a small moment in the misery we have been going through but I'll take it.

A knock on the door signals Bethie's arrival and that it's time for the pack meeting. I'm curious as to how many people will be in attendance.

Derrick opens the door and follows my sister in.

'I won't ask if y'all are ready but it is time to go.' She says as she gives Agnes a sad smile.

I put my hand on the small of my mate's back and wait for her to take a step towards the door. I feel her take in a deep breath, and then she raises her chin and walks towards the door. As she passes him, she hands Derrick her blazer to hold. He immediately takes it and bows his head to her.

The walk to the great hall seems to take hours. With each step we take, you hear the click of Agnes' heels. Once we reach the door, all 5 of us stop and take a deep breath. Waiting for Agnes to be ready doesn't take long. She grabs the handle and leads us into the room.

Taking a quick look around, I see that the hall is packed. The seats are full and the empty spaces around them are jammed packed with pack members. This is going to be harder than I thought.

Approaching the high rise where Riley, Melanie, and several guards are positioned on one side.

Riley is sitting free of restraints because he has been nothing but cooperative. It is not the same story for Melanie. She is bound and gagged. I refuse until the last minute for Agnes to hear the vile things that have been coming out of her mouth.

After leading the 3 of us to our spot, I address the pack.

'It's with great sadness that we are here today to sentence punishment for crimes against my mate, the Luna Queen. Agnes will be the judge, jury, and executioner.' I speak with a loud voice for all to hear.
