**3rd Person POV**
That night, everyone was in their sleeping chambers. Keith didn't have a room set up for him at all yet so he just insisted he'd stay up and keep watch in case. Everyone lightened up to Keith a little bit, still had their doubts but it was improvement. Well, other than Princess Allura. She still didn't trust Keith and she didn't want the others to lower their guard down on him either.
**Lance POV**
I couldn't help but think about that Galra Prince, he just wouldn't get off my mind. I can't sleep at all and I feel like if I interact with him my sister would get pretty pissed and take it out on Keith.. The thought of him just continued to bother me and I felt like seeing him right now, so I did what my stupid conscience told me.
I looked for him around the whole ship until I saw him in the control room sitting by the window showing the beautiful galaxy. His eyes were sparkling as small flurries were around the room
"Ehem.." I cleared my throat to let the Galra Prince know I was here
"Prince?" I see Keith stand up and approach me, much taller than me since he's Galra
"Why are you awake?" Keith asked, he sounded a bit concerned..?
"Oh, I just can't sleep, busy thinking about something!" I said
"What is it? I know you might not trust me, but I can listen." He said politely
I blushed a bit when I heard him reassure me but I just shook it off
"Its nothing, really! Just.. Thinking of my family!" I lied
I saw Keiths expression get a bit sadder and he glanced around the room
"Listen, i'm sorry for what my mother did.. I swear I had nothing doing with it, it was against my power to stop what she-"
I covered Keith's mouth with my hand and smiled
"Its fine, I know its not your fault. I told you I trust you, didn't I?" I said
I saw Keith smile softly as he took the hand and kissed my palm
"Thank you." He said as he looked at me
"So, do you miss your parents at all?.." I asked politely trying not to seem disrespectful
"Honestly, not really. They were always bad parents but I can't imagine their anger when they see me next, if they see me that is."
I looked a bit nervous when Keith had said that and didn't know how to respond
"Well.. Why is that? What did they do?" I asked
**Keith POV**
I looked at Lance and decided I should tell him my story, maybe he'll trust me more and convince the princess if I explained my intentions?
