Now that Mason was a part of the team, he was head over heels for the new opportunity. He couldn't wait for a chance to see their villain sides. He was so excited that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings and bumped into someone. He looked to see it was Barbara, along with five other girls. He recognized them from last night and guessed they were in their casual attire. They looked as if they didn't sleep last night, so Mason decided to play into that.

Mason: Hey Babs. You don't look too good. You alright?

Babs: (Groggy) Huh, oh, hey Mason. Yeah, we didn't get enough sleep last night. (Back to normal) Anyway, these are my new friends. Zee, Jessica, Kara, Karen, and Diana.

Mason looked at Barbara's new friends. He recognized two of them.

Mason: (To Zee) I know you, you're that magician lady. I saw a few of your shows, not too shabby.

Zee: (Annoyed) Shabby? They're gorgeous!

Jessica: Zee! Sorry about her, she can get prideful about them.

Mason: It's alright. (To Karen) I've heard of you. You're that girl from the robotics club, aren't you?

Karen: Um, yes.

Mason took a card, wrote something on it, and gave it to Karen.

Mason: That's my number. Give me a call sometime, I would love to exchange notes with you.

Karen: (Blushing) Oh, um, thank you.

Diana: Well, it is good to meet you, brother Mason.

Mason: Brother?

Kara: Don't worry about her dude. She's a transfer from Greece.

Mason: Greece, huh? I was more of a fan of Norse Mythology, but Greek mythology is cool too.

Barbara: Hey, why don't we go to lunch and we can get to know each other more?

Mason: Sure. I would love to.

Jessica: Actually, I have something I need to do. I'll be sure to meet you again.

Mason: OK.

Jessica left as the rest of the group went to lunch.

Mason: Say, Babs, I know your little secret.

Everyone else turned to him, the amount of shock on their faces was immeasurable. Save for Barbara.

Karen: H-how did you figure that out?

Mason: I...saw you guys in the newspapers. It wasn't too hard to figure out. And I was with Barbara when we first saw you reveal your powers.

Barbara: Yeah, we have an eye for the unusual.

Mason: Don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

Diana: And may I ask why?

Mason: Well, people who cared about me kept secrets from me to protect me. I'm willing to do the same for you. Besides, any friend of Barbara is a friend of mine.

Zee: Thank you.

Mason: You're welcome. Love the hair by the way.

Zee: Thank you. I should show you my stylist sometime. Maybe get your nails done.

Mason: I would appreciate that.

By the time school ended, Mason made his way to the football field, hoping to take a few photos for Leslie. He noticed a green light coming from the sky and to the front of the school. He went to investigate, only to see Jessica and another guy.
