Date with a Princess

Mason Pov:

I slowly start to wake up after a wonderful dream. I was making out with Doris and we eventually slept together. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of snoring. 

I turn to see...Doris! So I wasn't dreaming after all? Did I make out with her? I check the time to see it' 9:30. We're late for school! I started to slowly get out of her bed as I didn't want to wake her, but she was wrapped around me tight.

Doris: (Groggy) Stay.

Me: But Doris. It's a school day.

Doris: You're smart. You can skip a day of school. Besides, you're too warm and cuddly.

She pulls me in to where my head is on her chest. I guess I could stay a while, not much could be happening. I start to slowly maneuver my body so that I can give her a hug when our moment of bliss was interrupted by phone ringing.

I pull it out to see a video call from my sister. I answer it to see she's in school, but the building was destroyed around her. The sound of someone tearing lockers apart could also be heard.

Leslie VC: Dude! You need to get here now!

Me: Why? What's going on?

Leslie VC: Carol just came in for her first day of going to our school and she's worried sick about you! And since you haven't been home, I don't know where you've been! I thought you just went ahead for some school thing.

Just as she said that, I heard Carol screaming in the background, pink hearts flying past my sister.

Carol VC: WHERE IS MY KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR!?

Leslie VC: Where even are you?

Me: Um....

I feel Doris starting to get up and she's now in Leslie's sight.

Leslie VC: Don't tell me.

Me: I'm now dating Doris.

Carol VC: HE'S WHAT!?

Carol shoves Leslie out of the way and grabs her phone. Her face told me she was wishing I was joking, but I was sadly not. She started crying.

Carol VC: M-M-Mason...

Me: Carol! Calm down. We can talk about this. Just wait until I get to school, okay? You think you can be strong for me my princess? Just for a few minutes?

This gave Pam enough time to use her vines to wrap up Carol making Carol drop Leslie's phone. Leslie picked it up and continued talking.

Leslie VC: Look, I'm happy for you bro, but you couldn't have picked a worse time. Just get your butts over here now.

She hangs up as I turn to Doris.

Me: Look, as much as I would love to spend the rest of the day in your arms but...

Doris: I get it. Carol can be pretty insane when she's upset.

I was lucky that we were in the clothes from yesterday, as that gave us ample time to leave the house. We passed by Doris's parents, but they were more interested by their experiments that us. As we were walking to school, I decided to speak up.
