No Pov:
The scene opens with the Superhero Girls standing on the roof of a building, staring on as The Daily Planet could be seen with a strange mark plastered on the front door. Green Lantern creates a construct of binoculars to look at the damage.
Green Lantern: Just like the others. We've got a tagging crew on our hands.
Bumblebee: (Grunts) That's 604! They're spread all over the whole city!
Zatanna: And now they've defaced Metropolis's most iconic landmark!
Wonder Woman: Vile fiends! We Amazons recognize when a rival clan intends to invade.
Supergirl: Yeah! Creeping in on our turf?
Mason: But why is this your responsibility? Shouldn't it fall under the police's responsibility?
An idea presented by Wonder Woman was that Mason also attends their usual patrols around the city, realizing his love for supervillains could give them a leg up against crime. Not to mention their desire to be close to him.
Batgirl: Due to the police being baffled by the sudden appearance of these marks, then it falls under our jurisdiction. (Pulls out her laptop) Now, unless my bat-sleuthing skills deceive me, these tags seem to be appearing at specific times in specific places. If I can just triangulate these coordinates, we'd be able to predict where the crew is gonna strike.
Bumblebee/Mason: Metropolis Shipyards.
The two had pulled out their phones and used their map devices to triangulate the coordinates faster than Batgirl had.
Batgirl: (Impressed) Touché, you two. Touché.
Bumblebee: Which is in...
She lets out a terrified shriek as the results come in, cutting to them entering one of the darkest and filthiest areas of Metropolis.
Supergirl: Sinister Slum.
They walk around and take in the disgusting, dreary, and probably crime-ridden place. Most of the group were terrified, with the exceptions being Batgirl and Mason.
Green Lantern: It's seedy...
Zatanna: It's filthy...
Bumblebee: It's scary...
Batgirl: (Wistfully) It's just like back home.
The bat-themed hero continues to look around but is immediately pulled from her thoughts when she bumps into Bumblebee, who is distracted by her phone.
Bumblebee: We're here.
They stare at an abandoned warehouse, with crows all over the top.
Mason: And if our calculations are correct, the new tag should show up any second.
They burst into the building, only to see it was just as dark. Making them alone.
Batgirl: Uh...anybody see a light switch?
Before anyone could answer that question, they noticed someone zip past them. They didn't see it fully, but another noise alerted them. They saw five eerie shadows stand from their crouched positions. Only Supergirl wasn't concerned.
Supergirl: (Mocking) Ooh, I'm so scared. (Normal) Seriously, you guys, these punks are no match for-
Her gloating was interrupted by the biggest one hitting her with a giant mace, causing her to be sent flying into a stack of old boxes. They all gasp as Supergirl walks back without a scratch.
