chapter 10:Familiar faces Pt.2

It was a short flight from Hokkaido to the airport close to Kuoh as they took the train into the region as their train got closer the girls started grabbing their bags their shinais on their back "alright everyone we are nearing Kuoh after we arrive we will first check in at the hotel and then we have the day off so you can all explore the town but be prepared to be at the hotel at 7 as we will have a team dinner at a local restaurant" Ms.Kazukima said to the girls "hai!" Was the cheer that came out as the train pulled up to the station the group filed out of the train the group followed the teacher the inn they were staying at as Ei helped the teacher by helping the girls to their sleeping room "alright well we will be having a small outing for ourselves i'll make sure Ei is back in time for dinner" Alex said when Ei returned having changed her track suit for her normal kimono she wore when she was at home "alright let's go" alex said to his peerage who nodded as they left the in to have a group sighseeing session as they decided to swing by kuoh academy to check out Ei's competition.

In another part of Kuoh on the grounds of Kuoh academy two High-class devils along with their queens gathered in the student council chambers one of the heiress had crimson hair and blue green eyes as the other had a short bobcut with glasses and pink eyes these were none other then Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri Alex's sister and former friend along with their queens Tsubaki Shinra and Akeno Himejima as they came together to discuss the influf of power that entered the town that morning "are we sure we shouldn't be alerting our siblings? We dont know who these people belong to" Sona said as she looked at Rias who shook her head a small smirk on her lips "come now Sona we're strong enough to deal with it I'm sure it's not that important to involve the satans" Rias coaxed just trying to dissuade her friend "Rias the power surge came out of no where we don't know if its an adversary or not" Sona said sighing knowing her friend most likely wouldn't agree with her she sighed in defeat "very well but the moment this is something that will be out of our control i will contact the four satans" Sona said closing her eyes and pushing her glasses up as Rias stood up "its fine Sona im sure its nothing to worry about" Rias said as with that she and Akeno left Sona turned to her queen who shook her head as well agreeing with her king about the lack of interest from Rias in a possible threat as both devils tensed up when they felt the power getting closer to the academy "it seems like we will meet them sooner then suspected" Sona said standing up as Tsubaki nodded as both moved out of the student council room.

"Alright me and Esdeath will be close but we're going to visit a shop nearby i trust you girls to behave" Alexander spoke as he left Yae and Ei near the gate of Kuoh academy who bowed as the two entered the academy grounds as the king and queen dissappeared. Both girls looked around taking in their surroundings as Yae approached a random student "excuse me but could you tell me where your schools kendo class is?" Yae asked as the student raised an eyebrow never having seen the pink haired girl but gave her directions anyway only both girls could feel the devil energy coming from this student as they figured she belonged to a peerage as the Yae thanked the girl she returned to Ei "we have about 10 minutes" Yae spoke up only for them to hear as Ei nodded she followed Yae to the kendo clubhouse where Kuoh's kendo club was in full training. Slipping inside Ei scanned her opposition but she was disappointed as she didn't see anyone who could really give her a challenge the only ones who looked a bit skilled where the captain and vice captain whilst it was clear both girls werent spotted by the kendo team yet it was a harsh opening of the door that got everyone's attention as suddenly the kendo team also spotted their spectators the girls looked at the new arrival wich were the student council president and her vice president "kaichou!" The kendo team captain called out in suprise not expecting to see her in person but said student president was more focused on the unwelcome guests of the academy.
"Pray tell me who you are and why students of Hokkaido academy think they can sneak on the school grounds you trying to sabotage before the upcoming match?" Sona questioned sharply as Ei looked at Yae who was wearing her school blazer "I told you to take the stupid thing off" Ei scolded Yae who chuckled embarrassed "relax were only here to see our opponent nothing more" Ei spoke bowing softly as Yae followed her example "If you excuse us I've seen enough" Ei said walking towards the exit but she was blocked by Sona "i still have some questions for you" Sona said as as Yae chuckled mentally trying to get a connection to Alex and Esdeath seeing as Ei was looking furious. Ei sharply glared at Sona "move" she spoke calmly but sona refused to budge even as Ei's eyes started to glow a vibrant purple and static electricity filled the air "Ei" Yae warned as she felt her peerage sisters power "stand down both of you" came an authoritive voice as they all looked outwards where two new arrivals stood making Yae sigh in relief in sight of her king and queen as Alex looked at Ei he looked disappointed in her making her look down in shame as Sona studied the new arrivals one of them looked very familiar no both of them did the girl with blue hair reminded her of someone from her youth "here now" Alexander spoke strongly making the girls look down "yes sir" they mumbled as they made their way past the devils as their gaze was locked to the floor they knew they failed him as he clearly instructed not to cause anything Alex let out a sigh as Esdeath placed her hands on the girls shoulders roughly gripping them making her feelings known to the girls who winced  as she leaned forwards between the two girls "punishment when we get back to Hokkaido" she whispered as both girls shivered in fear "excuse my two wards for their behavior but they are almost late for their dinner" Alex spoke up as Esdeath forced the girls to bow by applying pressure on their shoulders "they still haven't answered my questions and you all just appeared on school grounds" sona shot back trying to figure out who these people were Alex let out a small smirk at sona "well they can be devils sometimes but I'm sure we have all the time to talk tommoro" Alex said his smirk growing as he saw Sona's eyes widened a bit noticing his hint she nodded watching as the group turned to walk away.

When the group had a solid distance away from the academy Alex stopped "what the hell happend" he commanded sternly as Ei stepped up and bowed "im sorry its all my fault, i couldn't control my temper" she spoke up as Alex raised his eyebrow she was one of the last he expected to lose control he sighed nodding at Esdeath who released the girls shoulders as Alex pet her head "seeing as this is the first time im letting you off easily but u will get punished during training" he told them as they nodded "but i wasn't joking Ei you have team dinner in an hour and still need to change and shower" Alex said as the girl nodded and the group walked back to the inn whilst Ei went out for dinner with her schoolmates Yae Alex and Esdeath went out just the three of them.

The day had finally arrived of the match between Kuoh and Hokkaido's kendo teams as the hokkaido team arrived at the match center they noticed it was packed with students as Ei walked behind her coach with Enji on her right as they made their way to the referees to enter their match sheet whispered picked up all around them as they noticed that Ei was crippled on her arm making Ei narrow her eyes at their close mindedness "don't listen to them captain" a blue haired girl with yellow eyes called Hina Motomachi said as Ei nodded her in gratitude as the girls went to change in their uniforms the team gently help Ei into hers.

"The first match between Kuoh and Hokkaido will start with vice captain Yamashi Enji against Kuoh's Katase Yui" the referee called stepping onto the mat as both girls took their stances "Begin!" The referee called as Katase went in for the first strike but was suprised when Enji just parried her strike to the side as she went in for a strike herself that Katase was lucky to block in time but she wasn't expecting the fast hit that followed that she couldnt block "point Yamashi!" The referee called out as both girl took their spots again "since when do you play so dirty Yamashi-san" Katase said to her old rival who just stared at her "she learned me that victory matters most in these situations" Enji countered "she is our Shogun and we will fight to make her proud" Enji shouted as she dashed forward making Katase go on full defense as was relentless in her attack eventually gettig the overhand and winning her match as Hina lost her match altough it was a close fight it was eventually Ei's turn
Her teammates gently helped their captain putting on her helmet and gave her a small bow as Ei nodded at them and walked towards the mat where her Murayama was waiting for her as she looked skeptical at Ei clearly underestimating her pissing off Ei but before she could step on the mat she noticed Alexander's gaze "show them" he told her with a nod as Ei's eyes widened and she smiled nodding back and moving on with confidence "come on Murayama you can easily win this!" The kuoh students called out as they looked at Ei "the final match will be between Sakura Academy Bael Ei and Kuoh's Murayama Kaori will begin" the referee announced as both girls stood opposite of each other Ei was glaring at her opponent "if you think you will have it easy you would be mistaken" Ei told Murayama who stared her down "begin!" The referee called as Murayama tought she could easily beat Ei by going for an upperhand double strike but she was suprised as Ei just raised her Shinai and parried the strike with ease stepping back and going for a pointed strike as Murayama blocked the incoming strike Ei moved back goading Murayama into attacking as she fell for the trap as Ei just parried the incoming attacks exhausting her opponent before finding her opening and striking roughly "Point Hokkaido!" The referee called as the arena on Kuoh's side were quiet but the Hokkaido team were cheering for their captain "Break ref!" Ms.Kazukima called out as the referee nodded and both teams moved back to their respective teams "Good job Bael-san" ms.Kazukima said as Ei got closer she was hugged by Yae "you're doing greit Ei-chan" Yae said smiling as Enji nodded "its alway amazing to watch you fight captain" Enji said with amazement as Ei nodded in thanks Yae had removed Ei's helmet for her allowing her to drink "i can safely say that this match is won" Ei said to her team who nodded as Yae put the helmet back on for Ei as the break had ended Ei would win this for her friends.

As both fighters opposed each other Ei grinned her shinai strongly in confidence "begin!" The referee called as Ei just rushed at her opponent instantly pushing her backwards not allowing any rest for Murayama as all she could was block Ei was relentless in her strikes until she finally found her opening amidst the roaring crowed as Murayama stumbled "match! Victory Hokkaido!" The referee called as the girls from Hokkaido cheered as they run to their captain cheering as she was in the middle of them Alex nodded approvingly as he and Esdeath moved to the side of the arena "lets have that talk now why dont we Sona-chan" he said with a smirk as Sona let out a gasp finally recognizing the two devils "Alex..Esdeath..."
