A/N So, since I have huge writers block, my boyfriend tried helping me add more to what I already wrote for chapter 3. And he came up with this masterpiece because he just can't take things seriously. So, he gets full credit for the ridiculousness. I can only take credit for the normal parts. So enjoy this monstrosity while I try to finish the normal chapter

January 22nd 835

Pacing, all Calista did was pace back and forth in the living room while bouncing the tiny infant gently in her arms while he acted like a little ungrateful bitch. It had been two days since Mariele had selfishly gone missing, and she hadn't slept since.

All she could do was wait. She felt so powerless, depressed, useless, unable to do anything while other people were looking for her child.

It didn't feel right, like she wasn't doing enough, but there wasn't much she could do, especially when she had her hands full with a newborn who refused to get a job or atleast help out around the house.

She's never felt so helpless in her life before. So far, Hannes hasn't been able to come up with any leads, not even a single witness, and it was heartbreaking.

Despite it only being two days, she was seriously fearing the worst. With no witnesses coming forward, the situation didn't look good, and Hannes had broken down in drunken tears saying just as much.

Many children that go missing are usually found just hanging out at the arcade, or in the basement of the church, but those had been the first places she had looked and Mariele hadn't been one of the children who were freed from the church basement, which had been a relief, it's bone-chilling to think about her daughter hanging out with those sick priests.

She blamed herself. If she hadn't insisted on Mariele leaving the house that day to get her the newspaper, she wouldn't be missing right now. She can't even read, why did she so stupidly ask for a newspaper if she can't even read.

Mariele probably would've been in her room reading a book right now or setting barbie dolls on fire in the backyard instead of being God knows where.

Like, what if Mariele ended up in a place no one would even think to look. Like what if she decided to go play Minecraft inside an actual mine and got trapped, there were just too many possibilities, and it made her head hurt just thinking about it.

She stopped pacing for a second, walking around to the window and pulling the curtain back just a little bit, peeking just one eye through, looking to see if the pigeons were still out there, watching her family again, she'd already tried yelling at them asking where her daughter was.

But the flying rats just continued to peck at the ground. All that was seen was the other residents of Shiganshina going about with their days, she wondered if they were being stalked by pigeons as well. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder, She had been so focused on the pigeons she hadn't noticed her father in law walking over to her.

"How bout I look after Hermin while you get some sleep Helista, you look even more Shity than usual, and that's saying something. You can't keep going on like, you wont be able to make me my breakfast tomorrow if you do." He said worryingly.

Calista sighed and shook her head. Unable to rest or cook anything until her little girl was back home and safe. I mean, her father in law was 69 years old, he was certainly old enough by now to be able to make his own god damn bacon and toast in the mornings, It was astonishing to think that some people are so lazy when it comes to making breakfast for themselves like that.

"No, it's fine. I appreciate the concern, although. Remember what we talked about with you making your own breakfast from now on?"

"Yes, I remember, and you should remember when you promised to make my breakfast every day in exchange for my silence for not telling my son what you did on Moriele's third birthday." He replied with a smirk.

She gasped. "Fine, you don't have to bring that up again, I'm so sorry, I completely forgot about the blood oath we swore to never talk about what happened."

"Thats right" he replied smugly, "and unless you want the whole  neighborhood to know about those cupcakes you will have my breakfast ready the minute I wake up tomorrow, i'll forgive you for today, since Heriele is missing and all.

"But only this time." he says after a pause. "Oh by the way, I saw some man grab Joriele and run away with her, he was wearing a green shirt, brown pants, tan shoes and red hat that said SWAG MASTER on it in purple." He said while walking out of the room.

"WHAT!!!" Calista yells. "Why didn't you tell this to Hannes when he was here earlier?" She screamed in anger.

"Well, I was going to, but I got hungry and had to make my own breakfast, and that kind of distracted me a little bit, but hey, better late than never, amirite?" He says while looking back smugly at the distraught woman.

"Oh yeah, she dropped your newspaper, I would of picked it up and brought it home with me, but it got some dirt on it, so I assumed you wouldn't want it anymore anyway." He said while misinterpreting her newfound silence for approval and gratitude.
