Anya's POV
(🔴)

It had been a tumultuous month since everything happened with Mattheo. Our relationship was complicated, to say the least.
We weren't officially together, but he acted as if we were. Alone, he treated me like we were more than friends, but in public, he acted as if we weren't even acquaintances. It was confusing, and I couldn't wrap my head around it.

In the meantime, my friendship with Enzo had grown.

We would often study together, and he had recently started dating a girl from Ravenclaw.
He would always come to me for advice, and I was more than happy to help him navigate his new relationship. It felt good to be there for him and offer guidance.

I would love to know her name but seems like he wanna keep it a secret.

Today, however, I woke up feeling pretty bad because of my period.
Despite the discomfort, I pushed through and got ready for the day.

I brushed my long blonde hair and pulled it back into a neat ponytail, then changed into my Hogwarts uniform. I put on my green and silver tie, making sure it was perfectly straight, and slipped on my black robe with the Slytherin crest proudly displayed on it.

As I made my way to the common room, I bumped into my roommate, Pansy Parkinson.
"Good morning, Pansy," I greeted her with a smile.

She looked up from her book and nodded. "Morning, Anya. Your hair is a mess."

I sighed, realizing my ponytail wasn't as neat as I thought. "Thanks for the heads up, Pansy. I can always count on you."

Pansy rolled her eyes, but I could tell she was amused. "You're lucky to have me,  bitch.", she said in a kinda of sweet manner.

We exchanged a few more words before heading our separate ways. I continued down to the Great Hall for breakfast, hoping to find some comfort in a warm meal.

As I sat at the Slytherin table, pouring milk over my cereal, Astoria found a seat beside me, followed closely by Pansy. Over the past month, we had become a tight-knit group, supporting each other through our various dramas and challenges.

As we chatted about the day ahead, I suddenly felt two hot hands on my shoulders. Startled, I turned around to see Mattheo sitting next to me, casually grabbing a random brioche from the table.

A smile formed on my face, and my cheeks flushed a bit at his unexpected presence. It was moments like these when I couldn't help but feel a genuine connection between us.

I could hear the girls giggling nearby, making some comment about leaving us alone. I quickly shot them a playful glare, letting them know that I wasn't oblivious to their teasing.

"Hey, Mattheo," I greeted him, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. "What brings you here?"

He shrugged nonchalantly, his dark eyes meeting mine. "Thought I'd join you for breakfast. I missed seeing your face in the morning."

My heart skipped a beat at his words, and I couldn't help but wonder what he truly meant by them. Did he miss me as a friend or something more?

Trying not to dwell on it too much, I smiled and replied, "Well, you know where to find me."

As I sat with Mattheo, headline on the newspaper caught my attention. "What is the Triwizard Tournament?" I asked him, looking at the paper with curiosity.

He chuckled and almost choked on his laughter. "You really have no idea?" He set the paper down and leaned back, preparing to enlighten me about the renowned tournament. "The Triwizard Tournament is a highly prestigious competition held between three magical schools: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. It tests the skills, intelligence, and bravery of the chosen champions from each school."
