A/N have fun with them
--------------------------------
Jungkook looked at his phone and sighed. Taehyung hadn't contacted him in 48 hours now. It was just a little emoticon of a shower head and Jungkook had answered with an annoyed face. He felt silly, so damn silly. It was official, he was turning back into his younger self at university, experiencing that first crush and behaving like a teenager.
Jungkook looks back at the screen of his computer and finishes the report for his latest patient. No one ever told you about all the paperwork later on, when you studied medicine.
He rubs his eyes and takes his water bottle for a needed drink, the hazel eyes are back, looking friendly. Jungkook stares at them, feeling anger rise.
"Are you done staring and stalking me?" He accuses, and the eyes turn sulky. "If you want to talk to me, then come and find me," Jungkook adds angrily, finishing the bottle in one go.
He huffs when he puts the empty water bottle down. Now he is too full in addition to feeling angry. Not a good combination. He finishes another report and looks at the clock. It was after 7 PM and it was time to go home. The locker rooms were empty and he wondered where Taehyung was. Was he already gone?
When Jungkook crosses the entrance hall of the hospital, he sees people opening umbrellas and heading away in a hurry. He groans. He didn't have an umbrella and he took the subway this morning. He was going to get drenched.Jungkook steps outside, still protected from the rain by the pompous canopy of the hospital entrance. It is pouring, and the raindrops hit the puddles in rapid succession. The evening was still warm and the rain increased the humidity. He was looking at the passing people while listening to the rain.
"It's nice, isn't it?"
Jungkook looks to the side, gazing at Taehyung's side profile. His hair is untamed and open, framing his face in little waves, reminding Jungkook of floating hair in the water. His glasses are off too, and Jungkook is reminded more and more of the water spirit.
"I don't have an umbrella," Jungkook replies, looking back at the rain.
Taehyung steps in front of him, invading his personal space. His eyes look cheeky, matching his wide grin.
"Walk with me in the rain," he says and wiggles his eyebrows playfully.
"Are you out of your mind? We will get drenched, catch a cold, and get pneumonia."Taehyung laughs, and it sounds melodic and inviting. "Stop being dramatic," he says and grabs Jungkook's hands. He pulls on them, dragging him a few steps closer to the rain until Jungkook struggles against Taehyung's hold.
"I don't want to, I don't like getting drenched.""Really," Taehyung asks. "I thought you wouldn't mind. I thought you were adventurous."
Something lies in his words and Jungkook narrows his eyes. "What do you mean?"
Taehyung takes a step back, raindrops falling on his hair. His hazel eyes still shine with mirth, enchanting Jungkook every time he gazes at them longer.
"Don't you like to take risks and walk outside the trails?"
"What are you saying?" Jungkook asks and takes a step forward when Taehyung steps further back.
"Mh, I thought you liked water. You didn't hesitate."Jungkook feels his heartbeat escalate and his lips open in surprise. He had hoped and still wondered. Or was this just a coincidence? He takes a few more steps, while Taehyung still holds the distance between them.
Raindrops land on Jungkook's hair and shirt and soak him instantly.
"Is this a game for you?" Jungkook asks, suddenly outraged. "Are you playing with me? Torturing me like this?"Taehyung's face turns serious, and he closes the distance between them. He reaches out, cradling Jungkook's face gently between his hands.
"I came here after all," Taehyung whispers and the hands slide off. "To play games with you?"
The rain drenches Taehyung's hair and it sticks to his face. He looks exactly like the time when he rose from the water, kissing Jungkook with curiosity and then passion like he never experienced before.
"Why didn't you tell me from the start?" Jungkook accuses.
"I didn't know if you were serious."
"I embarrassed myself again and again with you."
"I thought you were cute."Taehyung smiles. "I already like the 10% charm you used on me. I can't wait for the 90% charm I still have to witness, and let's not forget that I have to find the other moles."
Jungkook groans.
"See," Taehyung says. "Cute."
"You made me think I was losing my mind," Jungkook says, still ornery. "I was seeing your eyes everywhere. I thought I was going crazy.""I apologize," Taehyung whispers and looks down, some red grazing his cheeks. "I wanted to see you, and I had to find out where you were."
Jungkook suddenly realizes that the had rain stopped over them and looks around. People were still carrying their umbrellas.
"Are you crazy, people will see that. Make it rain again."Rain instantly hits him again, and Taehyung grins. "Everything for you."
Little droplets glide over their faces, and Jungkook's eyes follow a raindrop that glides down to the corner of Taehyung's mouth.
"Then let me take a sip off your lips," Jungkook murmurs.
"Is that another 10% you offer?"Jungkook tugs Taehyung forward.
"I'm going to kiss you."
"It sounds like a warning."Jungkook slings his arms around Taehyung and leans in, catching his lips in a soft kiss. One hand glides up into the wet locks, holding his head carefully. He moves his mouth against Taehyung's, projecting his adoration and longing into the kiss. Happiness fills him with each sip he can take from Taehyung's lips, feeling his compassion and devotion.
Their tongues glide against each other, fighting a passionate war that was bottled up for weeks inside their bodies, and their kisses feel endless to Jungkook. They stand like that, in the pouring rain, kissing with no care in the world.
Eventually, Taehyung pulls back, smiling.
Jungkook sweeps his wet hair out of his face.
"Thanks for finding me."End
