A/N Have fun
----------------------
Taehyung looks at the mirror in the elevator, taking in his face, and he proudly runs a hand over his hair. The soft jingle is getting on his nerves.
Being in the human world was kind of exciting, and he more often than not felt like a fish out of water.
It hadn't been easy to find Jungkook in the human world, and he had looked at too many people in the hospital, witnessing too many things that he could have passed on until he finally found him.
He had felt sneaky back in the forest, looking at his backpack while he was sleeping and finding his employee card. Taehyung snickers, thinking back to the day he had met Jungkook at his stream. The human had fascinated him from the beginning, how he had walked carefully through the forest and admired his realm. He had been so beautiful and shy and Taehyung had wanted to take him into his realm, but he knew it wouldn't be possible.
The elevator signals his arrival on the ground floor, and he steps out into the busy hospital lobby. People walk past him, sharing secret glances at his blue hair. Kids point at him and parents shush them. The kids loved him.
But modern life challenged him. Taking the subway was seriously overwhelming the first time. Too many people in a confined space made him nervous. Working the t/money card and getting access had been an embarrassing moment until an older woman had swiped it for him over the sensor. Not to mention getting the apartment, applying to the position, and so many other things. But his god had guided him, guarding him in this modern world. Fulfilling his wish to be with the human.
Some nurses check him out while he crosses the hall, male and female alike. Yeah, they could look but Taehyung had his eyes set only on one person. Said person was standing in front of the entrance, looking at one of the fountains on the plaza.
That particular fountain was a tricky thing, and Taehyung narrows his eyes, glaring at it. The fountain was installed into the concrete, not making it obvious that there was a fountain at all for him. He had walked up to the hospital that first day, looking at the sun that came up, and then his eyes zeroed in on Jungkook. He was sitting on the bench in the sun with his coffee in hand and had his eyes closed, soaking up the warm rays. He looked so beautiful.
Taehyung had crossed the plaza when sudden jets of water shot up, soaking him from head to toe. He had jumped around, some jets hitting him in areas that hadn't been pleasant. It took a few seconds until he could control the water, directing it out of the way. But people had seen him getting drenched, and his biggest fear had been Jungkook seeing him. Embarrassing himself in front of him. So, he had fled the scene and hidden behind a bush, brushing the water off his clothes with a snap of his finger.
Taehyung shudders, thinking back. He had slapped his cheeks, pep-talking himself to have the courage to approach Jungkook. It had worked out fairly well, he thinks back and approaches Jungkook.
The doctor is still staring at the fountain, slowly blinking from time to time. Taehyung stands next to him, directing his gaze at the same spot, curious what is captivating Jungkook like that. But it seems like nothing special, just people walking by.
Taehyung waves his hand in front of Jungkook's eyes, but he doesn't react. He seems frozen in place. Taehyung looks around but no one else seems frozen, and he breathes relief. You would never know if a Goblin was trying to fuck with him, taking advantage of his human lover. Just to make sure, he narrows his eyes and scans his surroundings, glowering at people. A woman's eyes bug out, looking fearful, and she hurries past him.
Taehyung waves his hand a second time in front of Jungkook's face.
"Kook, are you alright?" He asks, a bit confused.
