A/N lets enjoy some snow

---------------------

Jungkook leans against the counter of the nursing station, checking a patient's file on his tablet. The man had come in after an accident yesterday, and he had stabilized him with his team to make it to the OR. Jungkook smiles slightly, feeling good that he could help.

"Oh," sounds next to him excitedly and a nurse stands up behind the counter, looking outside.
"What is it, Hee-Young?" Jungkook murmurs, humoring her, and swipes to the next page in the file, looking at the blood work results.
"It's snowing," she says delightedly. "Too bad my boyfriend is not here."
"Why?" He asks, still immersed in the file.
"You should enjoy the first snow with your love," she explains like he is oblivious. "It's romantic."

Jungkook snorts. "This is for teenagers," he answers and looks up. She has her eyes narrowed and points down the hall, looking clearly fed up.
"Go and kill someone else's joy about the snow. A patient is waiting in cabin 8."

Jungkook smiles friendly.
"Don't give me that smile," she growls. "You killed my mood."
"So prickly today."
"Go!"

Jungkook takes the tablet and walks down the hall. He takes his phone out, opening the chat with Taehyung.

"Meet me in the rooftop garden at noon."

🌊

Jungkook steps out into the hall, having taken the staircase. He takes a needed breath and sees Taehyung standing in front of the glass doors to the rooftop garden. He hunkers down in his doctor's coat and shudders, peering suspiciously outside.

"You are staring like the enemy is standing out there," Jungkook remarks and walks up to him.

"It's snowing," Taehyung says distastefully and moves one arm in an elegant flourish, pointing to the white flakes outside.
"Isn't it nice? It's a Korean tradition to see the first snow of the winter with your boyfriend," he explains excitedly. "We should go outside and kiss for good luck."

Taehyung looks at him skeptically. "You just made that up."
"Of course not."
"You sooooo did. You probably want to lure me out into the cold and freeze me to an icicle."
"You won't turn into a Taecicle," Jungkook replies and grins.
"How do you know that won't happen to me when you expose me to the cold?"

"Did you watch a documentary with the kids again?" He inquires warily.
"It's part of my job."

Jungkook snorts and puts his hands on his waist. pulling him close. "Let's enjoy the first snow, mmh?"
Taehyung pouts. "It's cold. No one is up here... because it is freaking cold."

Jungkook leans in, pressing his lips on Taehyung's in a leisurely manner.
"Let's enjoy the snow this weekend and go on a trip," he whispers when he pulls back.
Taehyung makes a face. "I don't like the cold."
"I can warm you up after," Jungkook smirks.
"Why are you pointing that out, that was a given."
"You will like it."
"I doubt it."
"You will."
"I will just like the warm-up part."
"Not if I just push you into the sauna or give you a heating pad."
"Don't you dare," Taehyung growls, pulling Jungkook closer again and taking his lips in a heated kiss.

🌊

Jungkook glances to the side in disbelief, and back to the street, then follows another turn in the road up the mountain. Low clouds hang in the barren trees in the forest, and it is gray and gloomy.
Taehyung sits tensely in his seat, one hand on the 'oh shit' handle. He is still dressed in a big winter jacket and a hat, in addition to a scarf that is wound around his head, despite the warmth in the car. His gloves lie on his legs. They are the only clothing that he removed when he climbed in.
