after isaac, lee, danny and i quickly decorated the cupcakes, i ran upstairs to start getting ready. walking past parker's door, i heard a banging noise. she was sitting on the floor throwing a tennis ball against the wall with her baseball glove.

"parker?" i tapped lightly on the door, she looked up at me before continuing to throw the ball. "you need to get ready, we're going to start soon" i said softly

"i'm not wearing it" she huffed

i knew something was on her mind. i walked further into her room and sat across from her on the floor. "why not?" i asked patiently

"i'll look stupid, everyone's gonna laugh at me"

"everyone?" i tilted my head "you mean the guys?"

she looked down at her hands "they always make fun of me cause i'm a girl"

i never had brothers, it was only me and jackie but i was always a bit more of a tom boy so i felt for parker.

"why can't i just wear what they're all wearing?" she shook her head

"well, you can wear a suit if you want, but that doesn't mean you aren't still you" i smiled

i leaned over to her and put my hand on her knee "i promise. no one is going to laugh at you." i assured her

"and you'd look beautiful in a suit but i bet you'd look even more beautiful in a dress. you'd outshine the boys" i raised my eyebrows

a small smile spread across her face "okay, but there is no way i'm wearing those shoes" she turned her head and i looked to see some flats by her bed

we both looked back at each other and i raised my eyebrows and shook my head in agreement, we both laughed.

"i'm worried these are going to get dirty" i looked down at my white high heels as jackie and i walked to the field where the wedding was going to be

there were yurts across the field that the guests would stay in after. the boys, jackie, parker and i were all in light blue suits and dresses. jackie and i had white heels and parker wore her sneakers.

"jackie, evelyn! you guys look great" danny smiled as we walked past him and cole

"i have a hot girlfriend" isaac said as he came up behind me and put his arm around my shoulder, i punched his arm playfully

"thanks you too" jackie replied for the both of us

"thanks" danny smiled, straightening out his vest

"i guess you don't scrub up to badly, new york" cole smirked, looking my sister up and down slightly

"you either, colorado" she smiled back, her, isaac and i now walked away to find our seats
