i jolted awake as i felt jackie shaking me.

"jesus, what?" i groaned, hitting her arm in annoyance once i saw that the time was 7:28 am

"i'm leaving."

"what?!" i sat up all the way now and looked at her, she was standing beside my bed all dressed and ready to go, her suitcase at the door

last night had been eventful. alex told jackie he loved her, which was too much for her, especially so soon. she didn't say it back obviously. being confused and stressed, jackie later kissed cole in the barn, (finally.) she didn't tell me anything else but that.

"i'm going with danny and uncle richard back to new york" she sighed "you can come.. but i know how happy you are here."

"jackie you can't just leave!"

"ev i'm sorry"

my eyes started watering, "jackie, i need you here. we need each other"

she hugged me tightly "i'm sorry" and then she was gone.

i cautiously walked down stairs and into the kitchen, everyone was in there. my heart was thumping.

maybe they didn't realize she was gone?

quietly as possibly, i sat next to isaac at the round table.

"good morning evelyn, where's jackie?" katherine asked, cole and alex both looked at me.

i didn't know what to say or how to say it, so i just cut right to it.

"she's gone."

the kitchen went quiet, everyone looked at me. "gone? what do you mean, gone?" katherine panicked

"what did you do" alex glared at cole

i sighed as everyone hit me with a million questions and cole and alex argued.

jackie's pov ⋆.*ೃ✧

"no, katherine, i promise it had nothing to do with me" uncle richard glanced at me "i'll call you when we get there"

"you sure about this?" he looked up at me as i put my bag into the overhead

i nodded, sadly as i sat down.

i didn't want to leave, but i had to. i made a mess of my life there and i didn't want to keep ruining cole and alex's relationship as much as i already had.

"ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board flight 345 to john f. kennedy airport in new york. please fasten your seatbelts as switch off your devices as take off is about to commence" the stewerdess spoke over the speaker

no turning back now.
