Alhaitham walked back to his seat next to Kaveh. To his surprise, when Kaveh saw his roommate approaching, his crimson eyes looked towards the tiled ground.

There is no way something isnt wrong.

But now isnt the time nor place.

Alhaitham took his seat next to Kaveh, and one if the waiters came up to the table.
"Hello, can I get any of you anything?" She said politely. Kaveh, remembering the delicious looking pie, opened his mouth to speak.

"Two slices of raspberry pie, please."

"Can I ha- Ugh, Alhaitham I can afford a slice of pie." The senior repeated, for what seemed to be the 100th time. Normally, he would let his roommate buy him small things like this, as it wouldnt have any financial impact on them; but with the amount the scribe spent on him, Kaveh was surprised he wasnt as far in debt as him.

Who said it was for you?

W-well, you said you would buy me one, so I just assumed!

But you were complaining about me buying it for you. Which one is it, Kaveh?

Just let me buy my own food!

You didn't even bring any money.

"Huh!?" Kaveh checked his pockets, and sure enough, there was no money to be found. He was so focused on not forgetting his keys again, he ended up forgetting his mora. He sighed loudly, making sure the silver haired picked up on his annoyance.

"I'll.. come back later" The waiter nervously stepped back and went to serve another table.

"Did you know this whole time!? Honestly, if you knew, why wouldn't you tell me!"

"Aaand they're back at it again" Tighnari whispered to the others, making them giggle.

"Well, your getting the pie, so quit complaining." Alhaitham said while glaring at his friend group, laughing at their bickering. Even Collei, who just showed up, started laughing.

"Hey master Tighnari, and everyone else! It turns out I had a lot less work to do than expected, so I'm here to hang out! And to listen to.. what ever this is" She said playfully.

"this is a married couple in disguise." The mahamatra joked. This had been an ongoing joke for many years, even since their akedimiya days, and Kaveh never knew what to think of it; especially coming from Tighnari. With what he knows, the blonde sometimes doubts if hes completely joking.

He wouldn't bring it up, right? I never explicitly said not to say anything, so there would be no escaping the blame if it does come out..

Alhaitham expressed some annoyance now and again, with their constant teasing. Even he was wondering if they were taking it all a bit too seriously

It was one time, and its been years since then, but they might think... no. surely not. Its not logical.

"Dont you think this joke is a little.. old now?" Kaveh said, once again, trying to stir away the conversation from this whole married couple business.

"Not in the slightest!"
"Nope"
"Never, its the best running joke of this friend group'
"I swear i heard something about you two" Dehya looked towards the roomates.
"Oh..! What would that be..?" Kaveh replied nervously and glanced towards Alhaitham. They could almost read eachothers minds, and both were quite sure what she was going to say.
"Im quite interested in what you've heard, aswell." Alhaitham added.

"I swear when you guys where in the Akedimiya you two-"

Kaveh abruptly cut off Dehyas sentence.
"Ahah- That sounds just wonderful, but I actually have some.. uhh.. important business to attend to! hah.." Kaveh stood up and left the table as fast as possible.
