WHAT THEY SEEHONESTY SADÉ POWELL
SEPTEMBER 16th, 2023.
SATURDAY 3:52 pmHONESTY DIDNT KNOW why, but she just had a feeling all day that it wouldn't be a good one. She didn't know why, but her gut just kept turning like a warning.
It was going on four pm and nothing had happened yet, so she was starting to feel better thinking maybe she was just in her head, but just to be cautious she had been home with the twins all day.
The day before was kinda of weird for her, because harlem had called Dakari while he was over there, and she could hear her crying, and by his responses she could tell they were arguing and she didn't want him over there, so she expected him to leave like she wanted.
He surprised her when instead of leaving, he came back out and played with the twins for two whole hours afterwards, before finally leaving. He would've stayed longer had honesty not had to go somewhere.
It amazed her how he was able to switch into parent mode so easily, and how he knew how to prioritize them. She really appreciated it, because it gave her a break.
She honestly thought the twins might've liked him better than her, but it didn't even matter to her really.
Honesty didn't even try to suppress her eye roll as her phone sat on the counter , currently on a phone call with roveon. He was in her airpods and he was going on and on about something she didn't even care to pay attention too.
It was the only way to keep him at a calm compromise .
"But yeah, cause I wanted to see you today and—mmcht hold up. My baby momma callin me." He cut himself off grumbling and she sighed in relief when he put her on hold.
His voice made her want to throw up.
She put herself on mute while still on hold, knowing if she hung up she would make him mad, then began to ponder. She wondered when he would just realize she didn't want him and move on.
Even if he did move on, she wouldn't wish him on anyone.
She didn't even show any interest in him. She couldn't help but to blame herself though because she knew she gave him mixed signals in the beginning.
She wasn't trying but she was just doing what she knew, and that's how her and Dakari were , but this wasn't the same and she didn't recognize that.
"Why can't he just leave me aloneee." She mumbled to herself, whining in the process as she rinsed of a dish she had just finished washing.
"Who?" Sincere caught her off guard because she hadn't realized he entered the kitchen. He looked over her shoulder seeing 'ro' and his question was quickly answered.
"I thought you ain't fuck wit dat nigga." He questioned her raising his eyebrows.
"I don't fuck with him." She frowned feeling her skin crawl. She would never claim him no matter how hard he tried.
"Then why you cakin it up on the phone wit him." He noticed her shift in demeanor. After all, he was her twin, so naturally he knew her like the back of his hand.
