WHAT THEY SEE

DAKARI KAISER O'BRIEN
DECEMBER 9th, 2023.
SATURDAY 5:14 pm

"AYE, YOU HEARD anything bout harlem yet?" Sincere quizzed, sitting on the couch next to Dakari with a blunt in between his fingers.

"Nah, I'm sure she had the baby by now. But I'm knowin it was way too early. Her stomach looked like it was just now getting big." Dakari pointed out.

"Damn, imma have somebody lookin fa ha ass ian gon lie." Sinny shook his head. He had been weighing the pros and cons of her getting delt with while healing but he just wasn't with caring.

"Drugging my sister was straight violation. She not getting away wit dat shit." He shook his head, whole heartedly believing his words.

Dakari shook his head. He knew deep down it was always Harlem. She just always denied it, so it was never much he could do. Knowing it was for sure her wasnt surprising, more like relieving that he knew who it was indefinitely.

He couldn't lie, he was very very shocked about who Harlems real childs father was. He was even more shocked that smoke was Valerie's baby dadd as well.

That just sounded like a set up for failure.

"Man, at least you ain't have to see it wit yo own eyes. That shit was hurting the fuck out my heart." Dakari muttered. His mind flashed back to that night that honesty was sprawled out on his bed.

The way she cried, and asked if he was mad at her. He truly wasn't mad at her anymore at the time, but he still fought her away for the longest. It was unnecessary and uncalled for, and he knew that.

He hated that he treated her that way. He shouldn't have let his feelings get the best of him. That was just the type of soul tie honesty had on him.

Their connection was deeper than anybody knew at the time. The only girl he truly ever loved. The girl who took his innocence.

He was sick for weeks when she left. He even struggled eating, but no one ever ruled it as real depression because he was so young. He hated that it was looked over only because of his age.

His feelings mattered.

"I'm happy I didn't. I would've crashed out. On my momma." He took another toke of the pearled blunt before passing it over to Dakari.

"You stay crashing out so ion even doubt that shit." Dakari shook his head, believing his words whole heartedly. He didn't have a doubt about any lengths sincere would go to for his sister.

He already proved that before and he would do it again.

"Yeah, and wassup wit honesty new friend?" Sincere questioned, raising his eyebrows in curiosity. Dakari rolled his eyes at the mention of her.

He sighed frustratedly. "I'm telling you, it's sum wrong wit dat girl. I feel like she trynna fuck my girl, and I'm not wit it." Dakari expressed his frustrations.

Sincere furrowed his eyebrows taking the blunt back that was being passed. "I mean, honesty don't even swing that way, but that shit still crazy. The fuck she think she finna turn my sista out or some shit?"

"I hope not cause I'll get ha jumped." Dakari said with no sense of remorse in his tone. He didn't like the way faith came at him a few days ago. He wasn't feeling it.
