"WHAT TOOK YOU so long." Dakari frowned, watching honesty walk up to him with black plastic bags in her hands.

He stood on the porch, with each twin holding an individual hand.

"Boy, I was getting my eyebrows threaded." She replied back with a similar frown.

For the past few days Dakari had been clinging on to her more and she was giving him the side eye for it. She could've sworn he had a girlfriend, so why bother her this much.

"Now watchu go and do that for?" He questioned, knowing good and well he was irking her nerves to the max. Honesty had so much patience though, and he knew he was finally getting to her.

"If you haven't noticed Dakari, my body is hairy." She sighed, fumbling with her keys to get the right one and stick it in the keyhole.

"No, it's not." He countered.

"Yeah mommy." Asia co-signed her dad, nodding her head in the process.

"How y'all gonna tell me?" She asked them, twisting the doorknob and pushing the front door open. "Y'all just never see it because I take care of myself." She made her way inside with the three of them following her.

Dakari's eyes fell to her back side, and he licked his lips.

He had been doing that way more, because now he didn't have to feel bad about it anymore. He was single. Regardless—it still didn't feel like it at times.

Harlem was just blowing his phone, no matter what he blocked. He was really about to get his number changed. She even showed up to his home twice.

He wondered if she even got rid of the baby fully—because when he found out she had only taken one pill. That wasn't his concern anymore though, she could live her life accordingly.

Harlem and Valerie tried to shame him for leaving her for cheating when he had done the same. He had a different opinion though, because with a baby involved it was a done deal.

That's why he wasn't mad about thinking about the possibilities of Harlem leaving him after finding out about the twins. Kids were a package deal, and some people didn't want to deal with that. He was fine with that.

"Plus, I had to stop at Fat boys to get more stuff. I can't do all three of y'all hair with what we got." She continued with a huff referring to the hair store.

"Don't be mad that we wanna be high maintenance like yo ass." Dakari replied helping the twins remove their shoes.

"Whatever. Just give me a second to go change my clothes and imma do Caden's hair first." She told them.

"Wait why you doing his first! Mine gone take longer." Dakari exclaimed and Caden began giggling. Caden and Asia began making their way to the living room couch.

"Exactly, which is why you're going last. They can't be up all night and if I do you first they gonna have to be up. Plus, Caden is going first because he's the easiest one to deal with." Honesty concluded. "You and yo daughter wanna move and pout all the time."
