Training Loki

(Scene: Princess Maddie's Castle courtyard, our heroes ride a floating balcony, a giant "?" Block appears, it splits and transforms into a training course, everyone awes in delight)

Princess Maddie: If you can finish this, You're coming with me. Watch and learn. (goes through the obstacle course without a scratch)

Loki: That was amazing. Wait, how am I supposed to do that?

Princess Maddie: With the Power-Ups. They give us special abilities. (hits a block)

Loki: (grabs a red mushroom) Ugh! Really?

Maddie: Go on. Eat it.

Loki: Ugh... (Loki tries to eat it) Now does this have to be a mushroom? Because I HATE mushrooms.

(Maddie glares at Loki)

Loki: Okay, okay. (Loki tries to eat it again) Are you sure there's not like a--

Princess Maddie: (shoves the mushroom down his throat) Down the hatch! Yep, there it is. All gone.

Loki: (swallows hard) Aw, not cool! (feels a power surge, grows, cheers) I'm tall.

Princess Maddie: And strong.

Loki: (hits brick block)

Princess Maddie: And, you can jump.

Loki: I got this. No problem. (jumps then falls, lands in the water, then powers down and returns to start)

Princess Maddie: Oh, yeah. When you get hit, you lose the power. (hits block)

Loki: (grabs another super mushroom) Great. (eats it then grows)

Princess Maddie: Come on, try again.

(Loki's training montage begins, A remixed version of Bonnie Tyler's "I Need A Hero" plays in the place of any dialogue.)

Princess Maddie: Well, we have a long journey ahead of us, greenie.

Loki: But I didn't make it.

Princess Maddie: You almost did. No one gets it right away.

Loki: How many tries did it take you?

Princess Maddie: Oh. So many....I was not good at it. Worse than you.

Loki: You got it right away, didn't you?

Princess Maddie: I got it right away, but I grew up here.

Loki: Okay. Now, you're just trying to make me feel better.

Princess Maddie: No! No...Is it working?

Loki: A little bit, yeah.
