Chapter 34 - The Whispers of Eternity

Ashlynn's POV

Sunlight, dappled through ancient firs, played on my skin, a prickling reminder of the fire and ice that pulsed within. But the usual chill was chased away by a nervous warmth today – it was my wedding day.

My reflection in the moss-covered mirror, propped against a log, was a vision I barely recognized. The moonlight-spun silk gown whispered secrets against my curves, its bodice shimmering with embroidered silver, and the frothy tulle skirt cascaded like a thousand whispered promises.
