Ashlynn's POV

My reflection shimmered in the mirror, a vision of ivory satin and nervous anticipation. Butterflies pirouetted a ballet in my stomach. Today was the day I married Jacob Black.

Sunlight streamed through the window of Bella's old room, casting a warm glow on the room transformed. Gone were the teenage angst posters and vampire novels; replaced by cascading white lilies and twinkling fairy lights strung across the ceiling. Sue, ever the Martha Stewart, had outdone herself.

"Ashlynn?" Bella's voice, laced with a familiar wedding day tremor, drifted from the doorway. Her lavender bridesmaid dress complimented her olive skin perfectly.

Turning, I smiled at my sister. "Hey, you. Nervous?"

She squeezed my hand, her smile wobbly. "Like a chihuahua in a wind tunnel."

We both laughed, the sound light and brittle, the tension in the air thicker than the expertly applied mascara on our lashes.

"Don't worry," I assured her, "everything's under control. Sue practically has a wedding planning degree by now, remember?"

"True," said Bella, "but it's still Jacob Black you're marrying, Ash. Not exactly a normal wedding."

A shiver danced down my spine. Bella was right. Our situation was anything but ordinary. Jacob, a werewolf, my soon-to-be husband, was part of a world shrouded in secrecy, danger, and the occasional vampire encounter. Yet, his love for me, fierce and unwavering, eclipsed any fear.

"That's what makes it special," I said, my voice firm despite the fluttering beneath my ribs.

The floorboards creaked, and Charlie appeared in the doorway, a lopsided grin on his face. He wore his best suit, the one reserved for fancy occasions like graduations and, apparently, werewolf weddings. In his hand, he held a small, velvet box.

"There's my little girl," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "All grown up."

He walked towards me, his blue eyes welling up. Clearing his throat, he opened the box, revealing a delicate silver necklace with a crescent moon pendant.

"Mom and I got you something," he explained. "It belonged to your grandmother."

Tears pricked at my eyes as I reached out and took the necklace. The cool metal felt comforting in my palm. "Thank you, dad. It's beautiful."

Charlie pulled me into a hug, his familiar scent of coffee filling my senses.

"You're gonna make a stunning Luna, Ash," he murmured. "Just promise you'll be careful, okay?"

I hugged him back tightly. "Always, dad. Don't worry."

The doorbell chimed, and a wave of nervous excitement washed over me. It was time.

Bella took my arm, and together we walked down the makeshift aisle towards the backyard, which had been transformed into a breathtaking ceremony site. White wooden chairs were arranged in rows, facing a rustic arch adorned with wildflowers. There, under the watchful gaze of Mount Rainier, stood Jacob.

He looked breathtaking. Gone were the ripped t-shirts and worn jeans. Today, he wore a sharp black suit, his short hair styled in a messy perfection, the dark strands framing his face.. His brown eyes, usually filled with playful mischief, held a depth of emotion that stole my breath.

As I reached his side, a collective gasp rippled through the crowd of our friends and family, a mix of Forks locals and the Quileute pack members. Leah Clearwater, Jacob's best friend, shot me a playful wink, while Billy Black, the pack leader and Jacob's father, offered a solemn nod of approval.
