(Remake) A Koopa in Remnant

Chapter 2: A Grimm Welcome

It was a beautiful day outside Beacon Academy. Birds were singing, flowers are blooming. On days like these, it was a good time for students to go out and do fun outdoor activities. The most widely accepted activity was training together. Students who attend Beacon go to learn how to become Hunters and Huntresses to defend the world from the Grimm, soulless monsters who slaughter humanity like cattle.

Needless to say, it was a highly encouraged way to pass time.

However, one particular team had decided to stay in their dorms to do homework, like the responsible students they are. Of course, they wanted to go outside or even use the available training rooms inside. Unfortunately, one team member out of the four decided it was a good idea to pull a prank on one of the teachers. Little did she know that the one teacher she pranked in was someone nobody ever messed with.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. In this case, a huge stack of papers that went over subjects they haven't even gone over yet.

"You demented barbarian!! How could you be so stupid?!" Shouted a petite, white-haired girl as she stomped inside the room.

She had beautiful pale skin with matching blue eyes. She had her long white hair pulled back into an off-center bun tail pinned with an icicle shaped tiara. There was a crooked scar that went down her left eye, an old wound that faded with time. She wore the Beacon School Uniform, consisting of a Green Blazer with a plaided skirt. This was Weiss Schnee, heiress to The Schnee Dust Company and member of Team RWBY.

She was also super pissed off, especially since she had to carry a large stack of papers to her dorm room.

"Oh excuuuuse me, Princess!" Shouted a tall, blonde teen girl who stomped in after her. "How the hell was I supposed to know that it would backfire?!"

Unlike Weiss, this girl was much taller with fair-skin and lilac eyes. Her blonde hair was actually more golden, and it was ridiculously long and thick. She also wore the same uniform as Weiss did, but it accentuated her figure more than hers did. This is Yang Xiao Long, a member of Team RWBY.

She was also carrying a huge stack of papers, though Weiss seemed to be having more trouble carrying them. Yang barely broke a sweat.

"You shouldn't have done it in the first place!!" Weiss hissed as she finally placed them on her desk. Yang places her stack right next to Weiss' as she catches her breath.

"I didn't know Prof. Goodwitch was going to sub for Prof. Oobleck!" Yang said, raising her hands up defensively. She didn't expect it to backfire this badly.

"That doesn't matter. This is not the first time your "harmless" pranks have led us getting lectured!" Weiss shook her head at Yang, looking at her with shame.

"Oh, come on! I didn't mean for us to get shafted like that!"

"Ughh...you guys are screaming so loud, I'm getting a headache." A third girl followed in after them, looking slightly annoyed.

This girl had silky raven-haired with sharp amber eyes. She wore the same uniform as the other girls, but unlike them, she had something they didn't. On her head we're a pair of genuine cat ears. This was Blake Belladonna, a cat faunus and member of Team RWBY.

"Yeah, I'm kinda scared of her now..." At last, the final member of Team RWBY enters the room after Blake. She was a younger girl with pale-skin and molten silver eyes, which are really rare for some people to have. She had neck length choppy black hair with red accents flowing towards the tips. She also wore the same school uniform as the rest of them, but she wore a red-hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins.

This was Ruby Rose, the Team Leader and final member of RWBY.

One thing to take note of was that she and Blake weren't holding a stack of papers. There was a reason for this, mainly because Weiss tried to stop Yang from going through with her prank. It ended up with both girls getting a huge stack of extra homework. Homework that, unfortunately for them, contained study material they haven't gone over yet.
