(Third-Person POV)

"Come inside dear I have so much to show you!" Eliza walked inside with her aunt Azalea, as Leafeon and Scorbunny dashed past the two "You're going to love it here dear, And before I forget..," Azalea pulled a small booklet out of her purse, handing it to Eliza as she read over it immediately. getting excited "The Pokemon school! You got me in!?!" Eliza exclaimed, "I figured it would help you understand pokémon better, you'll start tomorrow at 8 AM, now with that out of the way why don't I show you and Scorbunny your room?" Both Azalea and Eliza walked toward the room, Both pokémon stopped roughhousing and followed their trainers. "I hope you like it, your mother told me you were coming so I decided to redecorate'' Eliza explored her room, there was plenty of space with a large window facing out towards the ocean the one thing Scorbunny wanted to stay far away from, with a desk in the front of it and a nice desk chair, the walls were a sunset orange and in the corner was a hammock with plenty of pillows by the door was also a nice big closet for all her clothes and there was a white fluffy rug on the floor that Leafeon seemed to make herself comfortable on, but on her bed looked to be some kind of present. "Hey Azalea? What's this?" both Eliza and Scorbunny went over to look at the gift, it was a small gift with pokéball wrapping and a red bow at the top, Eliza looked back at her aunt who shrugged "Why don't you open it, it seems Scorbunny is becoming impatient" Scorbunny slowly started undoing the bow, "Hey! Wait for me!'' She ran over and helped him finish. Inside were lots of pokéballs, different flavored pokémon treats, and a black bracelet that seemed to be missing a piece, "Aunty you know that I'm not allowed to have pokémon right?" Azalea, Leafeon, and even Scorbunny stared at Eliza in disappointment, (Why is everyone looking at me like that-) "Darling we all know for a fact that you weren't planning on following that rule" Eliza awkwardly laughed as she put the pokéballs in her bag. Scorbunny went to grab a treat but instead grabbed the bracelet, 'Scor' "What's the bracelet for?" Eliza stared at the bracelet, fascinated by what the slot was for "This bracelet is a family heirloom it used to be my mother's, you'll have to find out at school tomorrow what it does, now are you and Scorbunny hungry?" Both Eliza's and Scorbunny's stomachs growled "Heck yeah!" 'Scor!' Azalea laughed while Eliza slid the bracelet on her right wrist "Alright, why don't you unpack your stuff and then come help me in the kitchen".

One delicious dinner later... I promise I'll write dinner scenes later in the book-

"Wow~ that was amazing! How'd you learn how to cook like that? Azalea came by to take Eliza's plate "Took me quite a while to get the hang of it, but after a while, it just became natural" Azalea began to clean the dishes "Why don't you get ready for bed, after all you both have a busy day tomorrow!" Eliza nodded and walked back to her room, "Scorbunny I'll be in our room if you need me" 'Scorbunny!!' 'Leafeon!' The two replied with mouths full, Azalea looked back at the two and started to laugh.

After Eliza was ready for bed she sat on the bed playing with her necklace and thought about what to do when she decided to take a stroll on the beach, "Eliza will you come here for a second?" Eliza came out of her thoughts and went into the living room where she saw her aunt and another person with no shirt on except a white lab coat with gray pants and sunglasses on, speaking to her aunt until they both realized Eliza had stepped into the room, "Oh! You must be this Eliza I'm hearing about!" Eliza took a step back as the male reached a hand out to her "I'm Professor Kukui your teacher at the pokémon school," He introduced himself as Eliza took a step closer to shake his hand "That's Scorbunny I'm sorta a new trainer so I recently just caught him" Kukui looked at her strangely "You're a new trainer? Haven't you caught a pokémon before?" Eliza looked down at the ground, Scorbunny could tell she was feeling ashamed 'Scorbunny!' the pokémon stood in front of Eliza, just to make sure this guy wouldn't embarrass her anymore "Oh I didn't mean to make you feel bad I'm so sorry!" the Professor tried to step closer but Scorbunny wasn't having it as he shot a pretty big warning shot at the professor "WOAH-," The Professor took a step back "Heh your a strong fire type little guy," the Professor praised the small white bunny "You both remind me of my kid," He admitted "You have a kid?," Eliza questioned "Well not my kid, But in my eyes he's my kid," He smiled before continuing "His name is Ash, and him and his Pikachu are probably the most powerful duo I've seen minus the kids I teach but don't get me wrong they're also really strong as well," both Eliza and Scorbunny's eyes sparkled "He recently won the Alolan Championship against me and Tapu Koko" Eliza thought back to when she saw a few minutes of their fight on TV until her parents quickly shut it down telling her it wasn't good to watch that stuff. "He must be a really strong trainer" Eliza's face began to glow. "Yeah he's had a lot of experience–Uh Eliza is your face ok?" Eliza put her hands up to her face and noticed the glow "Oh jeez how do I explain this..-" Eliza muttered as she looked toward her aunt and nodded her head "Eliza has always been able to do that If her emotions are positive, then the stars on her face will glow brightly if her emotions are negative, then the stars will dull," luckily Azalea knew just how to say it "That's very interesting Eliza! You know we have a Sun and Moon pokémon on our island" Kukui  stopped to look at the time "Ah I guess I should probably head back now before the wife and kid come looking for me" Both Azalea and Kukui laughed "It was nice for you to visit Kukui, tell Burnet I said hello'' the two continued to talk as Azalea walked Kukui to the door "Eliza do you wanna say goodbye to Professor Kukui?" Eliza and Scorbunny walked to the door "Goodbye Professor I'll see you tomorrow at school" she shook his hand "Scorbunny shake his hand" Eliza picked up Scorbunny to shake the Professor's hand "Oh that's ok! Scorbunny doesn't have to- '' 'Scor' Scorbunny reached his paw out to shake his hand which Kukui happily accepted "Thank you Scorbunny! I hope we can at least get along, '' Scorbunny nodded. Kukui waved to everyone one last time before he began to head home.
