Manabu's eyes widened at the sight of Kiyotaka yanking Nagi's jersey.
'You're no prodigy.'
Airi Sakura, watching with her father at home, covered her mouth. She was stunned.
In her clean bedroom and applying makeup to herself, Yuki thought Kiyotaka's eyes looked beautiful. His condescending nature towards his defeated foe attracted her.
With an earbud on his right ear, Itoshi Sae cleaved the ball with force, applying the Magnus effect. It soared and dipped down into the net. Itoshi Sae often played music as background noise when training alone, but recently the match commentary from Kiyotaka's games became his go-to soundtrack.
Sae: (Taking into account the positions of his defenders and using them against a striker like Chris Prince... what a genius. He's slowly but surely widening the gap between himself and the rest.)
Fans worldwide held their breath as the tension between the two aces rose immeasurably.
Upon receiving a red card for his terrible foul, Prince was forced to leave the pitch and the bench immediately. Tweets, videos, and clips of the incident were already trending on every social media platform.

In the booth, reviewing both the PSG game as well as the Bayern match, Anri was excited beyond belief. This was especially the case for Kiyotaka's recent goal.
Anri: That was Nagi's fivefold fake volley! A miracle goal! It even stumped the second-best striker in the world!
Ego: Calm down, errand girl. It isn't anything to get giddy about.
Anri: But that was a world-class goal against the best of the best-
Ego: You're acting like he went past his means to score there. The use of Nagi's weapon, alongside purposefully maneuvering around Prince and causing him to foul were all possible with Kiyotaka's current skill set. He hasn't done anything revolutionary yet. He warrants no praise. Kiyotaka simply scored a goal within his own limits.
Anri pouted.
Anri: There you go again, never giving any credit.
Ego: Facing off against a team whose identity is in question and winning isn't hard. Their true obstacles lie in the following two games with hungry beasts captaining both sides. Both physiologically and physically, the challenges ahead will either hasten his evolution... or kill him.
She stared at the screen as Kiyotaka still held onto Nagi's jersey.
Anri: (The Kiyo we picked up from that school and the Kiyo right now... they're two separate entities. He really is coming into his own. Ego's plan for the world's best striker...it's gotta be you. Mentality, physical specs, and prodigious talent...there isn't a human alive with all of that jumbled together.)
Ego: Oh, that also concludes Bayern's match.
Anri: Oh, Ego-san, I had a question regarding Kunigami.
Ego: And what is it, Anri-chan?
Anri: He has a value of 50 million right now, are you really going to overlook that if he loses in the final match to Kiy-
Ego: The entire point of the Wild Card was to produce what exactly? Enlighten me, errand girl.
Anri scoffed.
Anri: To produce a player with Noel Noa's physical attributes.
Ego: Exactly. And what was the reason for bringing Kiyotaka into the project in the first place?
