There is just something so special about being alone with Coral at the beach. Seeing her in such a peaceful state of mind is truly captivating. I enjoy every moment we share together.
Today me and Coral decided to visit our beach together. Recently we found an uninhabited part of district 4's beautiful shores, and that has become our spot. Currently I am floating gently in the waves as Coral is diving in the deep waters.
Coral is the strongest swimmer I know, so luckily I have nothing to worry about as I watch her swim. There is nothing better in the world than the look on her face as she finds a new treasure. I feel honored to be the one she shares her smiles with. She always acts so tough, but she just melts when we find moments of solitude.
As I'm swimming in circles a beautiful red head pops up out of the water facing me "Hey gorgeous" she says making me blush "I found you an oyster". I see that she indeed has a fresh oyster in her hand.
After our first trip to our spot I found an oyster on the shallow part on the ocean floor, and it got swept away in the tide before I could reach it. Ever since then Coral has always tried to find me oyster for us to open together.
They can be a fairly rare find over here. They are considered a delicacy to the residents of district 4. Most of the oysters that are found end up being sent to the capital. So when someone finds an oyster when they often keep it for themselves or share it with a loved one.
"oh my gosh really!" I say excitedly "thank you Coral" I say before bringing her into my embrace and pressing a soft kiss to her cheek.
"Anything for you" Coral says with a light blush over her face. "lets go open her up"
We then swim over back to the sand and sit together on the light blanket I brought, so we wouldn't have to sit on the rough sand.
As Coral holds the oyster in her hands I hand her the short knife I carry around with me in the boots I am currently not wearing. She then slowly slices the shell open to reveal a shiny silver pearl.
Coral then removes the pearl from the mouth of the oyster, and places it in my hand. She looks at me with excitement knowing how long I have wanted a pearl. As I roll the pearl in my palm, I can't help, but feel so much love for the girl before me.
She has gone through so much effort just for me cause she knew of my fascination with the object. "Thank you Coral" I say as I look at her with glossy eyes "This means a lot to me".
"Anything for you gorgeous" She says before bringing me into a hug.
Me and Coral shortly after end up laying on the blanket in each others arms as we watch the sun set together.
I look over to the girl with hair more fiery than the sun before me and think of how there is nowhere I'd rather be than here. In her warm arms, and being able to admire her up close. Eventually she catches my stare and sends me a soft smile.
"Whats going on in that pretty head of yours" She say as she brushes her fingers against my cheek.
I slowly look away for a second contemplating my next words. Then when i look into her eyes I again I know it is the right time to share these words for the first time. "I love you Coral" I say with nothing but affection in my voice.
Coral doesn't hesitate one bit before responding with "I love you as well, so much".
I then softly cup her cheek and seal our statements together with a kiss.
I honestly love Coral. I wish more people loved her. Thanks to the person who requested this. It was fun writing it while I listened to finally listened to tv girl -V
