April 11, 1912

The journey to the ship was an exciting and nerve-racking one. Mckenna's leg couldn't stop bouncing and her heart was racing a mile a minute. She had never been on a ship before and she was a bit anxious about the experience. Her brother and mother did their best to reassure her, but it didn't help much. She was still a bundle of nerves as they approached the dock.

As soon as they got out of the car, Mckenna was awestruck. The ship was even more beautiful up close. The sheer size and majesty of it left her breathless. She had never seen a ship this large, or this grand. It was the most incredible thing she had ever seen.

"Wow." David spoke in awe as he stood beside her, staring up at the ship with wide eyes. He had never seen anything like it either, and he was just as amazed.

"I know." Mckenna smiles, her eyes never leaving the ship. "It's beautiful." She commented, her voice filled with wonder.

"It sure is." Eleanor said with a smile, happy to see her children so excited. "Now come on, we have a ship to board." She reminded them, gesturing for them to follow her, smiling as she held William's hand. He walked close by his wife, their hands linked together as they made their way onto the ship. Their kids followed behind them, gawking at the sight.

The docks were busy, people everywhere. Porters were busy carrying bags and luggage, passengers were lining up to board the ship. There was an air of excitement and anticipation, everyone eager to embark on this adventure. It was hard for Mckenna not to get anxious in a crowd like this. She never did well in large crowds, and it was especially difficult for her now with her anxiety. She stayed by her brother's side, trying to stay calm and collected. She didn't want to draw any unwanted attention to herself or cause a scene. David kept an arm around her to try to comfort her and so either of them won't get separated in the chaos.

After a few minutes of standing in line, they were finally able to board the ship. Mckenna took a deep breath and tried to relax. She knew it was going to be a long voyage, and she couldn't afford to let her nerves get the better of her. She needed to keep a level head and remain calm. She could feel her anxiety starting to bubble up and she did her best to push it down. She needed to stay focused and positive.

The ship was crowded and bustling with people as the Lewis family made their way aboard. Mckenna felt her anxiety returning as she saw how many people were on the ship, and her palms began to sweat. Her heart was racing and she felt a little faint. She made sure to stay close to her family, fearing that she would get lost in the sea of people. David kept his arm around her shoulders and kept her close, reassuring her that they would be alright. Despite her nerves and anxiety, Mckenna was in awe of the ship. The size and grandeur was breathtaking, and she couldn't help but admire the beauty and craftsmanship.

Once they were on the ship, they were guided to their suite. The room was spacious and luxurious, everything was high-end. It had a sitting room and three separate bedrooms with private bathrooms. Mckenna was in awe, it was the most incredible thing she had ever seen. The furniture, the art, the view. It was all so breathtaking. She was glad her parents had splurged on such a nice suite, it was definitely worth it.

"Oh my, this is so lovely!" Eleanor exclaims, a smile on her face as she took in the room. "We'll certainly have a wonderful view of the ocean from here."

"It sure is something." William smiles, happy to see his wife so excited. "You did good, love." He told her, placing a kiss on her cheek. He knew she had picked out the suite for them, and he was impressed.

"Thank you, darling." Eleanor responded with a fond smile, happy that her husband was pleased. She had put a lot of thought and care into picking out the suite, and it was nice to have her efforts appreciated.
