They run down the hallway, past hectic passengers who are trying to escape or convincing the others to leave. Mckenna noticed a lot of the passengers down here spoke different languages. Jack led the group down the hallways and around the corners, all of them desperately trying to find another way out. "This way!" Jack shouted after they finally found a staircase. They climb up the stairs to another blocked door, but this one had less people.

"Just go back to the main stairwell. And everything will be sorted out there. It will all get sorted out back there. Go back to the main stairwell" One of the men explained to the small group of people trying to get past the door.

Jack pushes his way to the front, glaring at the man. "Open the gate."

"Go back down the main stairwell." The man ordered, seeming to be annoyed.

"Open the gate right now!" Jack shouted, his anger growing.

"Go back down the main stairwell, like I told you." The man responded firmly, not budging. Jack sighed heavily along with Mckenna, her brother and Rose. He then grabbed the gate door and angrily shook it as he cursed loudly, ignoring the steward telling him to stop. Mckenna had to admit she was surprised by his sudden outburst, but she couldn't blame him. They were all beyond frustrated and desperate to get out. Jack suddenly turned around and looked around frantically for something.

"Jack, what are you doing?" Mckenna asked, watching with wide eyes as he searched the room.

"Looking for something I can break that stupid gate with." Jack told her and he continued searching the area.

"Here." David went over to a nearby bench and picks up one side. "Help me out." Jack nodded and grabbed the other side.

"Fabri, Tommy, give us a hand here!" Jack added, calling his friends for help while Mckenna and Rose quickly told the other passengers to move aside so they don't get hurt. The four men managed to pick the bench up and rammed it at the gate after everyone was out of the way.

"Put that down! Put that down!" The steward shouted.

The second time they hit the gate with the bench, it broke completely. "Now, let's go!" Jack shouted, grabbing Mckenna's hand and pulling her with him. David quickly grabbed Rose's hand and followed them down the hallway. They ignored the steward that kept telling them they couldn't go up to the top deck. Tommy even punched him which Mckenna was glad about. If he didn't then she would've gladly go back and punch him.

They quickly ran up the steps to the upper deck, passing many scared passengers. When they got outside, the cold wind hit them immediately and they were met with complete chaos. People were trying to get on the lifeboats that were currently being lifted in the water. Some people had even climbed down and started cutting the rope on the lifeboat. They were all desperate and just trying to get to safety and not thinking rationally.

"Well, this is a nightmare." Mckenna muttered, her grip tightening on Jack's hand as she felt him squeeze her hand. She was terrified and her heart was beating quickly in her chest. The cold wind wasn't helping her calm down either. They had went over to the railing to look to see if any boats were left, but on this side there was none which had worried them even more. But Rose had asked the Colonel, who she found nearby, if there were any boats on the other side. He said there were a couple of boats at the front. Mckenna ran to the other end of the ship with Jack by her side, her brother and Rose behind them with Jack's friends.

Mckenna had noticed a small orchestra consisting of three violins and a cello playing nearby. She couldn't believe it. How were they calm enough to play? Were they really not bothered by the sinking ship? She assumed maybe they were playing to help calm everyone down, but it seemed like no one was paying attention to them and for that she felt bad for them.
