chapter 10

Annalei's pov

  I slip on my ugg slippers and walk over to Rut's dorm. I knock on the door and Sophie (franks girlfriend) opens the door, "RUTGER. YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS HERE" Sophie yells with a hint of annoyance, she is on the cheer team and I honestly have not talked to her enough to have an opinion on her so I do not say anything about what she said except for, "oh its not like that". Sophie moves out of the way and goes back to the couch and as I go over to say hi to Frank she rolls her eyes which I ignore because I don't want to start anything, but like girl what he's like my brother obviously I'm gonna say hi. But I say hi to Frank anyway.

  I then make my way towards Rut's room and I tell him about that interaction I just had with Sophie. "Rut I was knocking on your guy's door and Franks girlfriend opened the door and you probably heard her but she was like RUTGER YOUR GIRLFRIENDS HERE and I was shocked because I was not expecting her to be screaming in your dorm and I said oh its not like that which isn't a big deal because we get that a lot and then I walk over to Frank to say hi and she freaking rolls her eyes at me like ok bitch calm down..." I take a breath then continue "but I'm probably just being dramatic" "Lei Lei, you are not being dramatic but don't let it get to you shes just being a bitch to you for no reason" Rut says then he mumbles something under his breath that I could not make out. "Sorry what did you say? I couldn't hear you" I say. "Oh it's nothing" "Tell me please" "Fine.." he caves in "I said you are prettier than her anyways" "Awee Rut you're so sweet" I say giving him a hug.

  "Wanna watch Netflix" Rut says as we are just sitting here talking. "OH MY GOSHHH YESSS" "What do you wanna watch?" "Gilmore Girls" "You really do love that show" Rut says, I get confused because I don't remember telling him about Gilmore Girls. "How did you know I like Gilmore Girls Rut" "When we were on facetime last year, it was like the first week we met, you mentioned how much you like it because I mentioned I was watching Agent Carter  that has Chad Michael Murray starring in it, and you started talking about how much you loved him as Tristan in Gilmore Girls. And I have remembered that you've liked it ever since" Rut says with a playfully happy smile. "Rut oh my god thank you for remembering that, thats so sweet, you're gonna make me cry, thats so cute holy shit" I say extremely happy that he remembered that because no guy has ever remembered something like that. "Lei it was just a small detail, but I'm glad you're happy and if you're happy then I'm happy." We were already sitting side by side so I scoot as close to him as I can and I lay my head on his chest and he hugs me to his chest and puts his head on mine and we just sit there comfortably for like 20 minutes before we decided to put on Gilmore Girls. About 2 episodes in I fall asleep peacefully on Rutger's chest, I am so glad that I have him here next to me, even though I know it's just as friends.

AHHHHH HOLY HOLY THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!! rut and lei to the end (obviously bc it's literally their book😭)
