"Why were you working with Peter in the first place?" Scott questions me after Deaton had dropped us back off to our house.
I unlock the front door. "I needed to protect Diego. He was working with Peter, but after last night I'm not so sure anymore." I open the door, letting him in first before I shut and locked the door behind us.
Scott nods his head as he walks further into the house. "Okay." He speaks.
"You're not mad at me?" I ask.
Scott seemed pretty mad when Peter, Derek, and I were in the locker room trying to convince him to join us. "I was mad. I was pissed when you joined Peter's side. But you did it for Diego, and I know that you'd do it for me." He kicked off his now bloodied tennis shoes.
"I would." I promise him. "And Peter is convinced that getting to Melissa is how to get through to you. We need to keep him away from her."
"And Allison." Scott adds.
I nod my head. "And Nina, and Diego." I add.
"And Stiles, and Stiles's dad." Scott adds on.
"All while keeping the Supernatural secret - " I continue, heading towards the stairs.
Scott follows me. "And keeping up in school" He finishes.
I offer Scott a smile. "Looks like we've got our hands full, huh?" Scott returns the smile.
"Go take a shower." I gesture for him to get upstairs. "And change clothes. I'll get you some food."
Scott heads up the stairs while I head through the living room and into the kitchen. I haven't gone grocery shopping in awhile but there must be something edible in here. I pull open the fridge, there's a small Tupperware of Mac and cheese left, some fruit, but no milk. Looks like we're having dry cereal for breakfast.
I open the pantry, pulling open the two doors. There's two boxes of cereal, Frosted Flakes and Cheerios, both open and both probably stale. I grab both boxes and put them on the counter then go to get bowls for Scott and I. I'm pretty sure Melissa is working, or she might be home from work soon, but it doesn't look like she's here now.
I shut the cabinet and turn, letting out a loud gasp as I see Diego standing in front of me. "Oh my god!" I cry out, lunging forward and pulling Diego into a hug.
Diego's arms wrap around me instantly. My irritation of Diego joining Peter's side ended as I held him close to me. At this point I didn't care what Diego was doing, just as long as he's safe.
"Where were you?" I demand as I pull away from Diego.
"Hiding." Diego says, "Until the hunters left."
I notice a cut on his forehead. "You're hurt." I reach up to touch his cut.
Diego pulls away. "I tripped. Hit my head." He explains as he reaches up to touch his forehead, then he notices the bandage on my arm. "You're hurt." His gaze drops down.
