Aether pov:

After lunch, me and Lumine had to be apart for the rest of the day, but luckily for me those next hours passed quickly and just like that my first day to the new school came to an end.

Before i left i packed my stuff and got some books and notebooks that i had homework for and put them in my bag so i could do the work later that day. I grabbed my bag and went to the exit, where luckily enough for me, the 3 boys didn't see me as they were hopping in a car, which seemed to be driven by Xiao(I hope i got his name right). It was a black car, maybe a lambo? I don't have enough knowledge in this to care but anyway - when i came home i did eventually look it up and it was indeed a lambo- I knew this guy was something but that car looked expensive as fuck, I didn't really think he could be rich, after all teachers dont make much.

Not long after that, Lumine showed up and we hopped on the bus and went home.

"So how was your day?" she asked as we got on the bus.

"It was good i guess."

"Mhm... I saw you had lunch with the 'meanies' ". she said and then chuckled, I gave her a little laugh too, she knew how to annoy me but also make me laugh.

"I won't even ask how yours was, because it was probably better then mine was either way hmph." i told her , then looked out of the window. "Ugh i don't like the fact our house is so far away."

"I wonder why." she said dryly. "Wait, Aether i didn't mean-"

"Leave it." i told her.

We were silent the rest of the ride.

And after 20 minutes we were finally home. We both went inside, plopped on the couch as she went upstairs to change from her uniform.

I opened my phone to see a notification that said "You were added in the group chat(...)".

As i clicked on it, it lead me to messages, where i now had a new conversation named 'The four punks'

"What the heck?.." i mumbled then clicked on the gc.

The door bell rang.

I closed my phone, the new gc could wait. I got up from the couch and hurried to the door to check who it was. As i opened the door i saw him, a tall man, blonde chin length hair and some pircing blue eyes. I knew this man... my uncle.

"Dain!" i said and jumped in his arms.

He chuckled. "Aether, how have you been?"

"Good." i said looking up at him from the hug and smiling. He smiled back.

"Glad to hear..." there was a stop in his voice, like he wanted to ask something but he just couldn't. I knew exactly what he was thinking of, after all he's the one who helped us all this time by sending us money. His first time visiting us after the incident.

Dain has always been by our side ever since out parents passed way, he started being more like a father to me and Lumine then an uncle, after all he was our dads brother. When we started living alone, he used to come by every day to check up on us, but after a while he just kept getting more and more work calls so those everyday visits became weekly, then monthly, now we get to see him once every 2-3 months maybe? It's whatever..
