Aether pov:

Next class was physics, I can't lie and say that I'm super good at this, but I think I manage.

As we entered the classroom, I spotted an empty desk near the window and asked Lumine if she would like to sit there. We both quickly sat down, putting our notebooks down our desks. I rummaged my bag for a pen, while Lumine looked arround the classroom -I assumed that she was looking for other kids that went to her first class-.

"Found it!" I whispered and placed the pen next to my notebook.

A notification

It was Ventea.

' What now? ' I thought and opened my phone to check what he said.

Ventea: Heyaaaa. Its me lol, hope I ain't bothering you rn, like teacher in class blah blah. Either way. Just wanted to know if you're still down to go to lunch with us.

'Why was he asking that now? I did say I will go geez, dont be so pushy about it, making me regret i said that.'

I clicked on the notification which sent me on the app, I then pressed Venteas name so i could answer his message.

Aether: Yeah, I'll come!
Ventea: Great! See ya at lunch then, or other classes if we jave the next ones togeyher-

' He doesn't even bother to fix his typos, ' I sighed then noticed Lumine looking at me curiously.

"Aether! Who you texting?" Lumine asked peaking into my phone.
"Eh. No one really, just someone that wanted to help me arround the school. Met them right after you left me!" I told her a bit irritated
"Right. Sorry about thatt but you made friends Aethhh I'm happy for you" she smiled

The teacher walked in the classroom and with that the lesson started.

Xiao pov:
I leaned against my locker thinking about what my father just said, socializing, like the old days. That old man really doesn't know what he's talking about, nothing can make our relationship be like it used to.

'My friends' were coming towards me.

"Hii" Venti said and leaned against one of the lockers looking at me.
"Xiao you ok?" Kazuha asked.
"I'm fine, what do you guys want?"
"Well I was wonderinggg, you know how we are going to have lunch with the new kid, Aether?" Venti told me. This guy should for real stop being so annoying god.
"What about it?" I said looking at the both of them.
"Well.. could you be nicer to hiimm? You acted like he wasn't even there today."
"No. So what? I just didn't pay attention to him."
"You didn't even wave at him nor say a word. How cold can you be?" Kazuha spoke.
"Just let me be."
"We would, if you will actually be nice to him or at least speak to him." Kazuha told me then Venti continued.
"Like we will have lunch with him."
"Whatever. What lesson you got now?" I said.
"Me and Kazuha have science"
"Ok then wanna skip this and come to the next one?"
"School just started Xiao. You for real wanna ditch already?"

So what if I didn't want to attend this lesson? It's not like I actually liked it -having biology isn't the best thing I could have right after I just escaped my fathers scoldings-

"If you guys won't I'll go alone."
Kazuha sighed then agreed he will tag along and so did Venti. These guys never leave me alone do they? -ok I will admit that I like their company sometimes. Especially if we are going to a cafe.-
