Aether pov:
The door of my room creaked opend, i turned arround in my bed, facing the wall.

"Go away lumine" i said as i tried to put a pillow on my head. Someone chuckled, sitting on the edge of my bed. "Lumine stop, its not funny" i told her as i tried to get up from the bed and flutter my eyes opened. A dark figure was sitting at the edge of my bed.

"Who?" i said as my sight became less blury and the figues face started to form. Xiao. Wait. WHAT

"HUUUH??" i jumped backwards abit, he laughed "Whats up? I hope i didnt scare you" he said.

"God no, youre perf- I mean its nice to see you, but how come..- why are you here?" i asked him

"Well i thought it would be nice if we went to school toghether. I hope i didnt bother."

"N-no not at all, let me just go get ready, ill be back in five. " i said as i got up from the bed, slippig a bit on the carpet as I started walking to the bathroom. God why was that pretty dude here. I looked at myself in the mirror, a normal aether. well rather normal, messy hair. I cant believe he saw me like this. I combed it out then went back into my room to get my uniform and a hoodie to put on top. He smiled at me when i entered my room, something he never did before. I smiled back and grabbed my stuff. I got ready in the bathroom, then went to tell him that we could head out to school now.

"Alright, my cars outside" he said as he got up from my bed and followed me downstairs , a place where lumine was nowhere to be seen. He drove us to school in his black car, the music more calming then ever. Somehow i didnt feel the way i felt when i first sat in the same car as him, i probably got used to the feeling of being so close to eachother, i thought but quickly brushed the it away as i noticed him parking next to the school.

"We are here blondie." blondie? i looked at him with a bit of confusion, since when did he call me that. We got out of the car and slowly started walking inside of the school, where i headed for my locker, Xiao right behind me.

"So are you gonna go to your locker or are you just gonna stand there cuz if u are it will be a bit wierd." I said, not paying attention to the dead silence in the highschool. I opend my locker. I got my books, closed it then turned arround. He was standing right in front of me.

"Xiao you ok?" i asked him, but right after that, he blocked my ways of escaping his gaze, pretty much having me pinned to my own locker. "Hey.. whats going on?" i said as i saw him leaning closer. I felt my cheeks burning. He stopped, then slowly moved his hand to cup my left cheek them to my chin,
"Aether!" i heard my sisters voice. The dream was over. Xiaos grasp was no longer on my chin. I turned to the right only to see my sister shouting my name. "Aether!!" she said again. I looked back trying to fit Xiao in my eyesight. Noone was there. No Xiao, No people. Just me and my sister in an empty school. Before i opened my mouth to shout her name, i felt my eyes getting heavy and so i slowly blinked, but when i opened my eyes the only thing i saw wasnt my sister, but it was my owns room ceiling. Oh you naive being.. you really tought Xiao would like you, coming all the way to ur house just to drive you to school and later on try to kiss you, you are so naive..

"Aether!" another shout. I got up from my bed. No figure standing on the edge of it. I pinched myself to make sure i wasnt dreaming again. "Owchhhhh" i said, rubbing my arm in the spot where i grabbed my skin. My rooms door bursted opened "Dude what are you doing we will be late to class." Lumine said . "Yeah ok." i said then laied back down on my bed, almost trying to go back in time somehow to relive that dream. I placed my hands on my face, "THERE IS NO TIME FOR DAY DREAMING AETHER. THE BUS WILL COME IN 10 MINUTES HURRY UP BRO" she told me, then started pulling me off the bed by my leg. I got out of bed and started getting ready, maybe yesterday gave me a bit too much hope regarding Xiao... This dream made me think that maybe there is a chance for him to like me, maybe he wasn't just being nice yesterday, what if he actually wants to hang out with me..
I got my shoes on, put my bag over my shoulder and left the house, Lumine following me after she locked the front door. I can't believe how chilly the weather got lately.. you can really tell now that winter is bound to come.
"I forgot to ask you,since you passed out right after you came home yesterday.." Lumine said as we sat in the bus station "..who was that blonde guy?" She asked
"Oh he's a friend I made in art class at the start of the school year." I told her
She smirked "Now you pull blondes too? Either way, were you on a date with the emo after school?"
"What?? Lumine we are not together, he has a girlfriend you know?"
"Yeah whatever, girlfriend , you, same thing"
"Lumi!!"
"Hihi, but tell me where were youu"
"I went to a cafe-" she cut me off
"WITH YOUR BOYFRIE-" I did the same.
"No. With the blonde"
"So you're into blondes now I see .."
"It's not like that" The bus came and we both hopped on.
We were silent on our way to school - more like u refused to asked any of her questions-.
"AETHER!" I heard someone shout my name as I hopped out of the bus, it was Venti. "Do you think my hair looks goofy pinned up?" He asked "Also How have you been? AND ALSO-" He was cut off by a waisted Kazuha
"Can you- warn me.- Next time.- you start- running?" He said clearly out of breath.
"Yeah okay, ALSO HAVE YOU SEEN XIAO?"
"Okaokay first of all what, second of all yes your hair looks nice and I'm good."
"Imma leave u guys byebyebye" Lumine said and walked past us waving goodbye.
"At least you like it." Venti said.
"And I just got here, how should I know where he is. Isn't he usually late?"
"Nah he comes on time, just not to class" Kazuha said.
I thought if Xiao wouldnt come today how would my day be, I usually see him at least once a day so..
I think Lumine always telling me he is my boyfriend is starting to get to my head, I catch myself acting as if we actually talk everyday not see him sometimes in class and eat lunch with him, Venti and Kazuha. I'm overreacting I can live a day or two without seeing him.
"Should I call him?" Venti asked
"Do you think he will answer though??" Kazuha said, looking at Venti with a face that said 'seriously'.
"It's worth a try!" Venti pulled out his phone from his pocket and called Xiao, if I need to specify he called him on video.
"Told you he won't answer." Kazuha said
"Ughh c'monn pick up, you noisy bi-"
"What do you want?" I heard Xiaos voice coming from the phone.
"Took you long enough" Venti said. "You coming to school or not."
"I am."
"Then why you shirtless?" My eyes widened as Venti said that. I can't lie and say I didn't try to peak in his phone.
"Im getting ready you dumbass. Why did you even call on video"
"Why aren't you here?!" He said
"Father, fuck him to be honest" I heard Xiao place down his phone, somewhere in his room. The room I've been in. A room where I met his sister.
"You fought again? Can't you just let him be?" Kazuha asked.
"No. He's annoying, now will you guys let me get ready?" He said, random sounds coming from his room.
"Yeah whatever, when you coming?"
"Once I'm ready. Father will drop me off."
"Righttt, now bye." Venti hung up the phone "Well since he probably won't be here for some time, what shall we do?"
"Maybe head to class?" Kazuha said.
"Aether? What do you think? Got anything in mind?" I don't know why but I've staied quiet all the time they were on call with Xiao. Something about him.. okay the fact I have a crush on him since day one doesn't count. But I can't explain this, usually Im more talkative, I wish I could say more stuff around them, without thinking they will judge me for it.
"Dunno, I have biology so.."
"BORINGG" Venti said.
"May be but I have it with my sister and I wouldn't like to leave her alone."
"It's okay I understand.." I felt the sadness and disappointment in his voice, he didn't understand."WELL MISTER KA-ZU-HAA."
"What?" He said "Lets just go to class Venti, it's for the best"
"Shuckles.. you guys win. Lets go to class"
And so we did. We headed our ways, them to whatever class they had first and me to biology.
