we met in an ordinary way, a way we both thought nothing of.
until we realised how much we each needed someone at that time.
we could have met anyone else, but they wouldn't have helped.
we needed someone who would make us smile when all we felt like doing was crying.
someone who would listen to us when all the universe did was silence our voice.
someone who would understand our pains and sorrows when everyone else invalidated them.
it could have been anyone else.
but it was us.
we found each other at that time.
