A while later the doctor came out and approached Joshua's parents, telling them that the operation of getting the bullet out and treating was succesful and nothing bad to Joshua which was a relief for them.

"Although we might advise him to stay here for a month so we can fully monitor his health, that's all you may see him" The doctor said then bowed with Joshua's parents sighing in relief then approached Jeonghan and his parents.

"Joshua is fine, the doctor said there were no problems... And yeah" Joshua's father announced which was a huge breath of oxygen for them especially to Jeonghan.

"But they said he'll need to stay here for a month to monitor his health so we'll move him to a vip room as usual" His mother added in which everyone agreed on.

"Uhm.. Mom, dad" He called Joshua's parents.

"Yes dear?" Mrs. Hong replied.

"How are you feeling..? And im sorry...." Jeonghan said apologised, looking down on the floor, feeling guilty to face his parents-in-law.

It only took one word and look to Jeonghan for the Hongs to understand what he's saying sorry for.

"Jeonghan.. Dear it's fine.... You needed to pick one with no choice, we understand" Mrs. Hong replied, Jeonghan slowly rose his head up and saw the warm smile Joshua's mom and dad has, which eased him but didn't really make him happy.

"How about you? Are you okay?" Mr. Hong then asked, which startled Jeonghan a bit, got him thinking, Is he okay?

No.

Not really.

He's glad his husband's fine but he just lost their child. How can he be fine?

Jeonghan gripped his own hands and tears started to fall again which led for his dad and Joshua's dad to hug him.

"Shhh... Let it all out son, We know losing your child hurts so much" His dad assured him, patting his back as Jeonghan cried his heart out
After a while, Jeonghan had calmed down and wiped his tears away

"I'll i see him" Jeonghan said and the Hong's nodded as soon as they did Jeonghan quickly made his way to the room to his husband.

Jeonghan entered the room and saw his husband sleeping peacefully with oxygen mask on because the doctor said Joshua will need extra oxygen until his wound closed.

Jeonghan went beside him and caressed Joshua's hair. "Im so glad your fine" He whispered and kissed Joshua's forehead. "And im sorry...." He added, crying silently while holding Joshua's hands.

Later on they moved Joshua to the vip room wherein Jeonghan's parents went to their mansion to get things because Joshua will be staying in the hsopital for a month while Joshua's parents stayed in the hospital with Jeonghan in the room, feeling so tired and sleepy yet he can't rest until Joshua wakes up making him fully sure his husband is alright.

Joshua's parents actually went down to talk to dr. Nim and the other doctor, setting the advance payment and discussing their son's health.

A few hours later Joshua slowly woke up, feeling relaxed and noticed the oxygen mask, dazed and didn't really remember what happend. He then wondered his eyes around and saw Jeonghan staring outside the window.

"Hannie...." He called, softly and quietly and it didn't even take. A second for Jeonghan to looked at Joshua and approach him.

"Hey love" Jeonghan said grabbing Joshua's hand, feeling so relieved.

Joshua then remembered what happend and as soon as Jeonghan grabbed his hand. "H-hannie the baby—" he tried standing up but his left side in the stomach hurted which is where the wound is.

Jeonghan frowned when he heard Joshua asking about their baby....

"Shhh calm down first" Jeonghan assured his husband which help Joshua calm down and lay down again.

Jeonghan sighed in relief "Im so thankful that you're alright" He whispered, head looking down while still holding Joshua's hand, feeling like he could pass out from relief at any moment.

"Hannie.. Our baby?" Joshua asked as he didn't receive any answer yet. Jeonghan just stayed silent, not knowing how he'll explain it to his husband.

Joshua didn't fail to notice the sudden mood change of his husband into pure sadness and pain real quick.

"Jeonghan...? Our baby's fine right...?"
He asked a little hesitatingly, hoping that Jeonghan would say yes they're baby's fine.

But according to Jeonghan's expression, the baby's not fine....

"H-hannie?" Joshua asked once again, tears starting to pile up, "I-im sorry...." in awhisoer, Jeonghan answered, sobbing quietly while Joshua was completely shocked at the news.

Jeonghan then started to sobb while Joshua stayed there, completely shocked, he couldn't believe it.

No he doesn't want to believe it.

Now putting his hands to his stomach it feels a little different, it should feel empty now but instead it still felt heavy like before, like their baby is still in him, alive but Jeonghan's reaction said other wise.

"No..." Joshua whispered, not believing his institution that their baby is not fine. "Y-you promise to s-save our baby..." Joshua blurted out, also sobbing but looked at Jeonghan.

"Im s-sorry S-shua, im sorry, i-im sorry"Jeonghan kept apologising, Joshua feeling like his heart was broken into pieces.

His baby, their baby is not gone right?

Right.....?

"Get out" Jeonghan was startled at what Joshua just said and looked at his husband.

"Shua-"

"I SAID GET OUT! FUCK OFF!" Now a shout, shocking Jeonghan it's the first time Joshua ever shouted at him, it broke his heart but he knows exactly why Joshua is mad at him so he wiped his tears, nodded and left the room.

"I hate you."

Later on Joshua removed his oxygen mask and put his hand in his mouth and started sobbing, he kept crying and sobbing.

"Fuck..." He whispered quietly, feeling so bad, feeling so guilty that he was the one who killed their baby by not being careful....

He continued to sobb and cry while Jeonghan just stayed on the door outside his room, feeling heartbroken by hearing his husband's sobs.

But Joshua doesn't believe that because he really should feel empty in his stomach now then suddenly he felt a pain in his stomach.

"J-jeonghan!" he called loud enough making Jeonghan immediately go in the room.

He panicked when he saw Joshua grabbing his stomach and groaning in pain. "S-shua hey, what's wrong?" immediately wiping his tears and approaching his husband, Jeonghan asked.

"It hurts...." Joshua cutted himself off when he saw blood coming out of his wound.

"Shit, NURSE!"
