Chapter 7-Casey

I hate this closet. Not the closet itself but when Tobi freaks out. Should I? I will.
"I got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine

"C'mon Tobi, where is your pocket full of sunshine?" I say after singing.
"I left it outside of the closet."he says. Poor Tobi, he is so afraid of confined spaces. "I don't feel good."he whines. We have a little flashlight in here. I turn it on and see that his entire arm is broke out in rashes.
"Tobi, oh my god," I say. He starts coughing. I lead him to the door and he starts puking. Gross, we don't have a variety to what we eat and I don't know what that is. "Daddy! Daddy! Tobias is sick!" I shout.
"Cassandra! I don't know what is wrong with you but Tobias looks fine to me!"he says sternly. "Now come here, you have to learn to be selfless. You are the most selfish child I know!"he drags me to my room. "This is for your own good."he pulls out his belt and strikes one, two, three, out.

I woke up quickly after I went out and dad was beating me for a long time. I lay there on the floor, blood drowning me. If I ever have kids, this will be a really bad story to tell them.

"Oh my gosh! Cassandra are you alright!?" Skylar comes running up. "Your dad doesn't beat you like Marcus Eaton's kids right?"she was freaking out. Tobi and I laugh but he is still super sick so his laugh turns into a cough.
"No of course not! I just fell down some stairs, thats all." I tell her, lie. "I'm clumsy." That was is not a complete lie.
"What about you, your so sick. Here take this. Before you ask, if I stay in Erudite I want to be a nurse."she explains giving Tobias a pill and some water.
"Thank you."he says and she nods. Tobias takes the pill. We were about to start talking again when Skylar's mom came over. She looked mad.
"Mom what are you doing?" Skylar asks.
