"Never mind Skylar. Why are you talking to my daughter Stiff?" Skylar's mom asks Casey. "I don't like you or your stupid faction!"she kicks Casey in the leg. Casey flinches but has had much worse. "What is your name? First and last."ahe demands.
"Mom, don't."Skylar whines. Her mom tells her to shut up.
"Hey!" I slightly shout. "Listen, we don't want trouble. If you let us go we won't talk to you or your daughter evr again." I say calmer.
"Alright, but if I catch you again I will report this to the council!"she yells and we walk away. Casey was looking down. I grab her hand.
"I'm sorry Cas, it had to be done." I coax. "How about after school we go somewhere to talk?" I suggest and she nods.
