It had been three hundred years since they had involuntary helped Katerina Petrova escape the Mikaelson's. But that didn't mean they weren't keeping tabs on her... they knew she had changed her name to Katherine Pierce at one point, and was currently residing in Mystic Falls. Which ironically, was the same town Natalia and her siblings had grown up in. Natalia had placed a simple cloaking spell on the doppelgänger, one that could easily be lifted by using the blood of a Mikaelson and a simple spell Esther had taught Kol and Natalia when they were little. She did it as a way of taunting her siblings with memories of her. If they ever figured it out, maybe one of them would be smart enough to figure out what had really happened to her.

Meanwhile, the small vampire family had gained and lost people over the past few centuries, gaining Zoë Bennett, a vampire-siphoner like Natalia. Lexi had gone off on her own for a while, Trevor had also gone off on his own claiming he wanted to explore the world. Natalia had cloaked him from all magic and gave him a bracelet he could use to contact them if he needed help. Rose had turned a dying man a few years back named Arron Tyler, who had stuck with the group. Rose had also reluctantly agreed to learning German and French along with Arron, so when they travelled it would be easier to blend in with the locals. Oliver had agreed to teach them Spanish as well, same as he had taught Natalia centuries ago.

Said original was keeping a close eye on Katherine's whereabouts, while keeping an eye on the Petrova line, keeping it alive and always making sure there was an heir somewhere in the world.

Other than that, they were living a quiet peaceful life in southern New York on the countryside.

Natalia stood with her arms crossed over her chest, her blonde curls bouncing in the wind as she watched Rose and Arron walk around the garden. The flowers ranged of all different colors, a collection of purple ones in the center were the heretic's favorite. A peaceful smile on her face as she closed her eyes and felt the breeze blow her hair back.

"Mum!"

Natalia opened her eyes, her smile widening at the approaching blonde. "Lexi? I thought you were in Virginia!" She pulled her daughter into a hug, rocking back and forth with her.

"I was. But I missed you. Thought I'd stop by to see how everything is here!" Lexi smiled, pecking the older vampires cheek.

"It's going alright. Arron is catching on quick to our lifestyle. Trevor's in Europe somewhere, he just sent a letter the other day." She linked her arm with the younger vampire's, leading her inside. "Ollie's fetching dinner now, you must be starving after a long trip!" Natalia pulled out a chair for her, then taking one across the table from her.

"Wonderful!" Lexi beamed, turning upon hearing Rose and Arron enter. "Rosemarie!" She cheered, standing to give her a hug.

"Lexi?" Rose laughed, "it's good to see you!"

"Likewise!" Lexi turned to Arron. "You must be Arron then! I'm Lexi," she held out a hand, one the man took with a grin.

"Nice to finally meet you Lexi,"

Taking their seats, they began discussing where they wanted to live next, seeing that they were coming up on their two decade anniversary here. At that point, they would normally move on. But having such a small house in the middle of nowhere made it easy to avoid people, meaning they could stay for an another ten years if they wanted.
