First Impression

I ran outside the base as Asta's yelling got closer and closer. As I stepped outside, my mouth was slightly agape and I stopped in my tracks to see Noelle in a giant ball of water... How does that even happen?! The other squad members gathered around in shock. I looked up and saw something flying straight down. It was short and was flailing. It was Asta! Captain Yami caught him and told him to help Noelle. "HOW?!" He yelled out. I smacked the back of his head. "Use your sword, idiot." "OK!" Without warning, Yami flung Asta upwards with zero effort. Asta took out his sword as he flew into the air and chopped the water ball up.

Asta and Noelle came falling down as Asta screamed like a baby. I caught Noelle by her back and Yami caught Asta by the head, (more like grabbing his hair). He plopped Asta to the ground who grunted. Immediately recovering from the fall, Asta moved over to Noelle with sparkles in his eyes. "You have insane magical powers!! I'm jealous!" 

"Huh..?" Noelle was confused. From hearing every harsh and cruel response to her 'weak' ability, this is the first time she's ever heard a genuine compliment.. 

"Really, you just couldn't control your magical power. You should have told me, you're a royal failure... But, we're a group of failures." Magna chortled.

"You should try this, kay?" Charmy stood on her tip toes to give Noelle a snack.

The whole squad interacted with her warmly. Her shoulders relaxed and she felt..home.. I put a hand on her shoulder and smirked. "You did it.. You earned my respect.." She raised her eyebrows and smiled adorably.

Day skip

I watched from the side as Asta did all the cleaning and laundry. He really had to scream early in the morning for this? I offered to help but the brat wanted to do everything himself to uphold his so-called Magic Knight honour. 

No one's POV

'I won't tire (Y/N)...' Asta thought and scrunched all the wet clothes with determination. (Y/N) groaned in annoyance as she leaned against the wall with arms crossed. Laundry is boring but it's better than nothing . (Y/N), against Asta's wishes, went over to do help him out just a little. As she reached for some clothes, Asta's hand brushed against hers. His cheeks were ever so sligthly pink, before returning it its regular colour. He picked out Vanessa's bra from the massive pile and had a nosebleed, muttering, "My heart belongs to Sister Lily." (Y/N) rolled her eyes. "Get up, idiot."

Asta walked over to Yami's beasts with a massive chicken leg in his hands. He had sweat droplets on his temples. "Why won't you this?! They listen to you!" Asta looked over at (Y/N), his voice trembling. "I know, but this is entertaining..." She smirked. Asta bit down on his lower jaw and approached the beasts. They looked like they were listening to him for once, but no, they bit his upper body, his screams were muffled.

(Y/N)'s Pov

The squad is at the dinner table, munching on their food. "Hey, Noelle, why don't you help with cleaning. Noelle gave the usual response that she's royalty. Asta retorted with, "But you're a newbie like me!" 

"So is (Y/N). But you don't let her do anything."

He shook his head, "That's different!"

I stopped eating for a second and narrowed my eyes. Then Asta started some dumb conversation about Magic Knights that I couldn't be bothered to listen to nor give any input in. Without any warning, the door was busted down and a tall burly figure stood behind. Yami eyed Magna, "Let's go" he said in a serious tone. Magna nodded and followed Yami, their footsteps faded away.

After a long while, Noelle, Asta and I were in the beasts room, when Yami and Magna entered...with no clothes on?! The two morons were laughing. Noelle and I looked away. It was uncomfortable seeing him in undergarments. "You're going on your first mission." Magna claimed.

Our mission is to hunt wild boars? "What kind of lame mission is this..?" I muttered. "This isn't lame!!" Magna yelled back, offended.
