"You don't have any information yet, huh?" Chisato's voice could be heard inside of a room as she button up her school uniform. Her phone is placed in her shoulder, which she used to pressed it on her ears.

"Yeah... I'm sorry. This is the first time I've got nothing about an information before..." A voice of a stressed female could be heard through her phone to which she chuckled at as she picked a sock on her drawer and sat on the bed.

"No worries! It's not like something bad would happen to the universe if you couldn't find any information about it. The fact that you're tryna help is huge enough for me." Chisato's grin could be felt miles away from her as she said that.

"Nothing will happen to the universe.. but something will to you! Please stop acting like this isn't a big deal!" The voice from the other side exclaimed. You could hear in the background a worried 'Kurumi-chan...'

"Well, its more good than involving other's innocent lives right? Besides, I still have... Like, six months before anything." Chisato said with that cheery smile still plastered on her face. She grab a hold of her bag before pushing the door open and walking down the stairs.

"Six months, huh... It's too soon." Kurumi, the person on the other side of the call muttered out, loud enough for only the phone to hear.

"I've been waiting for the last six month, so I don't really expect you to come up with anything about this situation of mine. I just asked you for a favor to do so, just in case." She told the girl, a smile still plastered on her face.

"Don't worry! I'll still be here, even after that, if it would happen." She added with that yet again cheerful facade she had.

"... don't die on us, Chisato." It was a silent whisper, only meanr for the phone to pick up and send to the other.

"I can't promise to that, Kurumi-chan." Her smile this time, expressed her worry and fear. Thabk god no one could see it as she walksndown the steps.

"It's already night time there in LA right? Please tell my aunt and uncle that I said Hi to them. You should sleep also, since Aunt Yuki asked you to go and attend school tomorrow." She could here something slamming on a table, and she assumed it was her face being.alammed on the table as she groaned out in frustration.

"Don't remind me of that disaster!" Whine the person from the other side.

"I'll get going now, I need to go and attend school today." She told through the phone, and with a last goodbye, the call had finally ended.

"It wasn't nice, eavesdropping to other's call." Chisato called out as she poxketed her phone. The sound of thumps footsteps echoed and is coming from the stairs.

"Subaru-san." She added, turning around to see the said auburn haired male with an earpiece on.

"Hmm? Whatever do you mean?" He innocently asked, which made the white haired female to huffed out the air from her lungs before pulling out yet another device from her other pocket.

"No use, Subaru-san." The male smiled at the girl before raising both of his hands up, a sign that he gives up before throwing his earpiece away.

"Then can I ask you about it? The six months thing." Subaru said as he sat down on the sofa, not even looking back to Chisato's peering red eyes.

"The thing is! We've been living together for almost what, two months, almost three? I can't even tell anymore..." She muttered as she walked towards the door, pulling out her school shoes from the shoe drawers. "And even so, I don't really trust you that much."

'Oh?' That piqued his interest. After everything? She doesn't really trust him much huh?

"I mean, come on. You knew of Lycoris. No civilian would've known about us unless someone told you. Or, you're someone from the government." She added eyeing her shoes and seeing if she's all good to go.
