"Ko-Koumei..." Yamato eyed the gigantic fire eating the mansion away with fear. The Tokyoites' face aren't that far from his either. They immediately make a U-turn as soon as those two called them. Ran was told to make a call to a firefighter by Chisato, who had her number ready and was the only one she could call that fast.

"N-No way..." Ran muttered, taking one step back as they saw another fire bursted out a window. Chisato was inside of that thing.

"If they were in the house, then they must've been..." Kogoro muttered, fear on his eyes as the yellow-orange hues of the fire illuminated the whole forest.  Ran's eyes widen an that information

"No way...! Chisato-chan!" Ran was supposed to run in when her father stopped her, saying that it woukd be useless to do so.

"Damn it!" Yamato exclaimed, making his way to the garden of the flaming mansion, determined to get Koumei, his friend, even if it means to die because clearly, that huge of a fire when a person is inside, is surely already cooked to death.

"What are you doing?!" Kogoro went to stop the inspector as well, who seems to doesn't listen to him.

'Koumei...!' Yamato gritted his teeth, remembering the last conversation they have earlier this day. How he will tell him first thing once he got this case solved.

'I haven't gotten the exact message from you yet..!' Yamato couldn't hear a thing, his vision tunneling to the fire in front of him. His mind racing to every possible way to pull Koumei out of it, or is it even possible to do so.

"-tor Yamato, Inspector Yamato!" Conan's voice brought him back to reality. He blinked, before he turned to look down at the kid looking up at him seriously.

"It's no use entering the house now." Yamato got angrier at what had Conan said.

"Shut up! How can you say it's useless if we don't even try?!" He exclaimed, turning around and pouring his emotion to the kid.

"As I said, it's meaningless now, right?" He turned to the side, looking at something to which made Yamato do the same as well. Thats when he only realize that Uehara, along with an unconscious Morofushi and Chisato, is under a tree, just taking shelter there.

"K-Komei!" He exclaimed as the four of them walked closer to the three. Uehara tended the two unconscious bodies.

"Thank god..."  Ran lets out a sigh of relief once she saw her classmate there next to the unconscious police officer. Conan couldn't hide the relief that course through his veins once he saw his cousin as well, his oh so reckless cousin.

That makes them two, though.

"Hey, whose blood was that?!" Inspector Yamato questioned, noticing a red liquid coming down to Koumei's face.

"I entered the house through the back door where the fire hadn't spread yet, and found him, and Kudo-chan making right just down the stairs, struggling to push through with Inspector Morofushi with her. She collapsed before I could even go near them.  Though before everything, Kudo-chan told me someone might've hit him, as she saw him already laying there in his own pool of blood." Uehara explained what had happened and Ran immediately goes to her classmate's side.

"Who was it, Koumei?! Who did it?!" Yamato called out to the unconscious, who did not even flinch at his name being called.

"Don't bother, he's completely unconscious... Moreover, the wound is on the back of his head. If he was suddenly hit from behind, it's unlikely he saw the culprit's face." Uehara said, giving her opinion to the Nagano Prefecture Inspector.

"But, the culprit can be anyone among the people over there." Conan stated that got the attention of three adults, Kogoro, Uehara, and Yamato, who lets oht a noise of confusion before looking to where Conan is looking at.
