Quick A/N

I have slightly changed my writing style to more of a 3. person POV since it made it a bit easier for me to write, however I am aware that it is not the same style is the first many chapters of this book and thus might not be to your liking. If it bothers you please let me know in the comments and I will change it back after the chapters I have prepared so far :)

The control center, once a silent chamber echoing with the weight of revelation, now pulsed with the hurried whispers of Thomas, Newt, Minho, and the rest. Y/N stood at the center of the impromptu meeting; her eyes still haunted by the memories of Ava's revelation. The monitors blinked with a ghostly glow, casting eerie shadows on the faces of those gathered.

Thomas, his brows furrowed in concentration, glanced at Y/N. "You had a vision didn't you? So, what did you see in there? Anything that can help us get out of this maze?"

Y/N took a moment, the weight of the past still lingering in her gaze. "Ava. She's the one who put us here, who orchestrated this maze experiment. She believed we hold the cure to the flare." I nodded my head towards the dead woman.

The group exchanged glances, a mix of disbelief and determination etched on their faces. Minho crossed his arms, a skeptical expression playing on his features. "Flare? Cure? Cure or not, we need to find a way out. This maze has gone on long enough" he scoffed the latter, more to himself than anyone else.

As the discussion unfolded, Y/N's mind echoed with the remnants of the flashback. Her thoughts circled back to Ava. The woman who held the key to their past, to the reason they were here. She could feel the weight of Ava's words—the responsibility that had been thrust upon her as a child. The sterile room, the vision of a world free from the flare's grip, flickered in her memory like a distant dream. The maze, now more than ever, felt like a puzzle waiting to be solved.

Thomas leaned in, his eyes searching Y/N's for answers. "Do you remember anything else? Any clue about why Ava put us through all of this?"

Y/N shook her head, the fragments of her past still a puzzle waiting to be solved. "No, not yet. But I'm determined to find out. There's more to this maze than we think."

The room fell into a contemplative silence, the glow of the monitors casting a surreal ambiance. The group, united by the shared struggle, faced the uncertainty that loomed beyond the control center.

As they strategized, Y/N's mind flitted between the present and the haunting memories of the facility. The walls seemed to close in, just like they did in the sterile room of her childhood. The desire for freedom, coupled with the responsibility of being the supposed cure, fueled her determination.

Amidst the planning, Newt, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and curiosity, approached Y/N. "Are you okay?" he asked, a gentle tone in his voice.

Y/N nodded, appreciating the concern but not wanting to burden them further. "I will be. We just need to figure out our next move."

The group continued to hash out their plans, each member offering insights and suggestions. Y/N, despite the weight of her newfound knowledge, felt a sense of camaraderie. They were all trapped in this maze, facing a common enemy – whoever that enemy might be.

As they planned their next move, Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that they were on the verge of uncovering something much larger—a truth that could change the course of their journey through the maze and the control center, with its cold glow of monitors, stood as a silent witness to their unraveling path.

The air in the control center hung heavy with the weight of revelation. Y/N's breath caught as the last images of the flashback played out—Ava's face, a mix of determination and sorrow, before the scene faded into the sterile walls of the maze's control room. This was not a vision. No, not this time. This was a memory. But how could that be?

Snapping back to the present, Y/N felt the cold reality of the maze surround her. The monitors blinked with a ghostly glow, and Ava's lifeless form served as a haunting reminder of their orchestrated fate.

As Y/N blinked away the remnants of the past, rage and determination welled within her. The maze held the answers, and she would unravel its secrets. The connection with Ava, shrouded in mystery, fueled her resolve to confront the truth.

With newfound determination, Y/N raised her voice above the din of discussion, cutting through their empty words, redirecting the group's attention. "Let's focus on finding a way out first. We can deal with the rest later. Together, we will unravel the mysteries of this maze but right now our priority is survival."

The determination in her voice resonated with the group, and for a moment, a spark of hope ignited in their eyes. The maze might hold secrets, but she was determined to navigate its depths and emerge victorious.

Thomas nodded, his features resolute. "Agreed. We've been pawns in this maze long enough. Let's turn the tables on whoever is behind all of this." The others starting cheering, filling the otherwise cold and quiet room with a warmth that seemed impossible in a place like this.

The group, now united by a common purpose, delved into planning their escape. The control center, once a place of revelation, became a strategic hub for their defiance.

Newt, his mind sharp as ever, suggested, "We need to map out the maze, just like you did back in the glade Y/N. If Ava truly was the mastermind behind all of this, there must be clues hidden within its structure."

Minho, leaning against a console, added, "We've got to find weak points, vulnerabilities. The maze may be a puzzle, but puzzles can be solved." Y/N smiled to herself glad to see Minho feeling more like himself.

As they discussed tactics, Y/N's mind raced. The maze was a maze within itself—a complex network of pathways, traps, and secrets. If they were to escape, they needed a comprehensive understanding of their surroundings.

Hours passed, marked by the glow of monitors and the murmur of hushed conversations.  Y/N's memories of Ava were tucked away, temporarily set aside in pursuit of a more immediate goal.

Eventually, a plan took shape. They would navigate the maze systematically, marking key locations, documenting patterns, and searching for any signs of an exit. The control center, now a war room, buzzed with a newfound energy. As they prepared to venture into the maze once more, Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that the answers to their questions lay hidden in its twists and turns. Ava might have set them on this path, but the choice to follow it—to challenge the very fabric of their existence—rested in their hands.

The maze awaited, a labyrinth of trials and revelations. Y/N, now armed with the fragments of her past, prepared to navigate its depths with newfound purpose. The group stepped into the maze once more. The monitors cast a dim glow over their faces as they left the control center behind, entering the maze's embrace with a resolve that echoed in the silence of the twisting corridors.
